So, with the Fenway show rescheduled again - is there anybody out there with a "GA Turf Pit" ticket who's looking to sell it?

Anyone looking to swap their seated tickets for GA Pit? I have two Pit tickets and am looking for front floor sections A5 A4 or A3 for Fenway Park. My friend has a bad knee and is concerned about having to stand for a long period of time. Thanks.

Hi all - I am looking to sell my spare ticket to Fenway. It’s A3 (on the field), row 21. Happy to sell at face ($395) and eat the fees.
Let me know. I can transfer the ticket to you through the MLB app once the ticket becomes available (usually 24-48 hours before)
Let me know if interested!

Good to hear.. That would have been a ton of money to swallow.. Yeah I got my cost back plus a few extra dollars to buy down the cost of my ticket. Don’t typically do that but my personal circumstances changed after waiting 2.75 years!

Speaking of buying resale tickets: what are your experiences, what is the best place to go and how safe is it? I am looking at several pages, but is there one that's particularly good? Stubhub, tickpick, seatgeek, ebay?
And how is it in terms of getting valid ticket? How trustworthy is all this and what guarantee do I have that I'll get a legit ticket not some photoshopped fake? Or that the seller didn't sell the same ticket to 10 people?
A little help here, please. I've never bought resale tickets, to be honest, so I am new to this.

I sold tickets professionally since 2015-ish (though on extended and possibly permanent hiatus)
First off they are only digital tickets with rotating barcodes so they are transferred to your Ticketmaster account. The sites are always a bit unclear. But to make the process smoother, have a Ticketmaster account and the app on your phone and the email you buy with matches your Ticketmaster email. Hopefully it's Gmail/Yahoo/Hotmail - I transferred to a friend who was using his ISP email and the transfer link came an hour later.
On the secondary sites, they are all the same tickets. My preference is Tickpick 1st Vivid 2nd. Tickpick often has a slightly smaller selection. Stubhub has been a total mess ever since they sold to ViaGoGo in Feb 2020.
As far as if they go down to $40, or even lower ... Well look at Luke Combs tonight, he is a massive country superstar and last I looked tickets were $12. I think I only sold Luke Bryan tickets at this venue and it didn't go too well so I kinda left it alone after that.
Not only are there just too many tickets on the secondary market, the high hotel prices and possibly weather will depress last minute sales. I have seen that happen before.
Also if you are comfortable you can hit people up in the parking lot and around the box office.
Get this - the Joe Perry & Friends 2018 show at the Roxy was sold out, I even saw a scalper pay $100. But I hit the line and stayed around the box office so everybody knew I was looking. Someone stepping away from will call just handed me one.
Most of all don't worry, someone is going to have a ticket for you.
Not really sure what the situation with reserved seats is, they were always too expensive to begin with.

Hey lordofthethighs, that's yet another great insight and a lot of very useful information! Thanks a lot. I am looking at several sites, trying to gauge what might the pit/GA ticket price be for Fenway. One last thing, let me ask this again - how reliable/safe these resale tickets are? How many scams and frauds are out there? Thanks!

Hey lordofthethighs , that's yet another great insight and a lot of very useful information! Thanks a lot. I am looking at several sites, trying to gauge what might the pit/GA ticket price be for Fenway. One last thing, let me ask this again - how reliable/safe these resale tickets are? How many scams and frauds are out there? Thanks! There are Nigerian scammers all over Facebook and sometimes Craigslist. They only accept unsecure payment methods (meaning no recourse). This is really bad for me because I can't sell my legit tickets. Yet they only need to find one sucker in a day and that's a lot of money in the third world.
On the secondary sites, they are mostly good but people make mistakes. I accidentally sold a few that were refunded in 2020 but I had the opportunity to find replacements or tell the exchange I cannot fill the order and they deal with the customer however and fine me big.
There is a pending issue where someone claims their Motley Crue/Def Leppard Fenway (PDF) didn't work and was refunded but I can't find the refund and this is 2 out of a 4 pack with no reported issues with the other pair. The customer may still be right as we're talking upwards of 10,000 transactions in this time period.
If you are buying outside off a fan with an extra, go in with them. Scalper, make them walk you to gate or if you are going with someone else, you go in, the other party pays and then goes in. Or you can shuffle the tickets, like looks good and have them hand over a different ticket than the one they are trying to sell you.
I go to 200 shows a year and almost never hassle tickets. That's the last detail after making sure I can get there or the show doesn't get pre-empted by something else (like I have this Smashing Pumpkins show on the calendar afor 6 months then The Hangmen announce a club date 4 weeks out which is more important). I almost fly solo so unless it's the Rolling Stones at the Echoplex I am not getting shut out.
