"A fractured larynx occurs when a direct impact causes a break in the voice box." What exactly does this mean? He was hit in the throat somehow?

Well, we knew it was coming. Really the beginning of the end. Can't count on seeing them again.

"A fractured larynx occurs when a direct impact causes a break in the voice box." What exactly does this mean? He was hit in the throat somehow? Well I'm not a doctor and I don't play one on internet forums, but I'd have to think that the force of that screamin' created trauma for a perhaps already weakened larynx? But I am just speculating as much as one can here, which is a lot. I'd also say that we probably still know less rather than more about the diagnosis. The fact that he couldn't talk is what leads me to think grade 3.

Listen to his voice cracking in this. A large part of me thinks they knew that this was the end. He sounds fine to me here. Where is the cracking? I have a video of this (birthday only) from Brad’s side. I did think that ending was weird - it was happy bday, they looked at the cake, and then they all ran off. It was just sort of a strange end. It was a beast performance. I pray that wasn’t the end

The Ticketmaster site is now showing Postponed for almost all of the dates that were on the calendar. Not just the remainder of 2023.

Yup, it's official. It doesn't say "The tour will resume in early 2024" meaning they will continue the scheduled dates, it says "SOMETIME in 2024", so they don't know when they will be able to resume the tour, if at all. This is saddest than expected. And, yes, I'll go with my previous saying. At this point, and if there's a comeback, include Joey somehow and "Peace out" making everyone happy, then release DVDs and blurays and Cds of it.

Since who knows when the tour will resume if ever, anyone got a copy of opening night in Philly they'd like to share to listen whenever?
I need something to cheer me up after canceling my New Years Eve hotel tonight.

There was a point towards the end where it just went. You could see Joe and Brad briefly look at one another as if to say 'that's it'. Was just a very brief moment, but it was noticeable.

Wow. Talk about giving it all. Let's hope Steven rests and heals well. I wish to God he had stopped the moment he felt something wasn't right and didn't push through the show. Time will tell how this goes, my hope isn't for when the tour can resume. Hate to say it but the tour can be fucked for all I care right now. I just want Steven to heal well.

Thanks! I found new years Eve 1998 too. Went down a YouTube Aerosmith rabbit hole. Anyone want to download them and share? Especially 1998 video? I dont have YouTube premium.

It must be pretty bad. Looks like they pulled all the tour merch off the website. Damn it. I wanted to buy the jacket and had left it in my shopping cart. Just was waiting to pull the trigger If you mean this one storeuk.aerosmith.com/collections/peace-out-tour/products/peace-out-jacket you might try ordering from the UK (if the order will go through). Not sure they will allow shipping to the US and how much would that cost, but I you are really hell bent on buying it - this might be an option.

I am sorry but at this point I would not encourage anyone to travel to see them. There is too high of risk of shows getting canceled. I would say if they are able, do one final show in Boston and have it on TV and call it a career. You are right, I wouldn’t travel to see them. Too risky, some still will though. There are some crazy fans out there, lol. "You talkin' to me?" Yeah, I did and I probably would again since they were apparently not willing to come over the pond. But hell, some people fly from Japan or Australia I am sorry but at this point I would not encourage anyone to travel to see them. There is too high of risk of shows getting canceled. I would say if they are able, do one final show in Boston and have it on TV and call it a career. But at this point, do one last big show in Boston with all 5. Go out on a high note. Record it, put it on TV, make a live album… whatever. Honestly, I wish Fenway 2022 was the last show. Especially if Joey’s really never coming back. Said ages ago, just one massive televised gig with guests and everything. Get Joey up for a bit. Make it a 3 hour thing. All the hits and deep cuts. Plenty of opportunities for Tyler to rest his voice. Say goodbye that way. They haven't toured for years.... There's a reason for that. Couldn't even get through a Vegas residency. We all knew deep down that this run was incredibly optimistic. It's a shame, but that's life. It's time to bow out with dignity intact. Nope, not gonna happen.... If Fenway, which absolutely perfect reason/occasion/excuse to go out with a bang, didn't quite worked out as a really big event, then they are not doing it now. I mean, I can also kinda understand it - had they done it then everybody would be like "What the hell?! Why quit when they are still on top of their game and can even pull off a 3-hour long show?!". But yeah... you all did say that and so did many other people, but they wouldn't listen

I wonder if Steven has opted for surgery and perhaps that could improve his durability going forward? He should get some fuckin' carbon fiber larynx and spider silk-thread vocal chords
