This Day (almost) in Stones History ~
28 Dec 1978, Rolling Stone magazine voted Some Girls by The Rolling Stones 'Album of the Year.' The cover designed by Peter Corriston, featured The Rolling Stones in garish drag alongside select female celebrities and lingerie ads. The cover immediately ran into trouble when Lucille Ball, Farrah Fawcett, Liza Minnelli (representing her mother Judy Garland), Raquel Welch, and the estate of Marilyn Monroe who all threatened legal action.

I don't know why it took me so long but I just bought this Vinyl a few months ago. I knew most of it but had never listened to it from front to back and there were a couple songs I didn't know. Boy was I missing out! Amazing record from start to finish. Mick played a good amount of guitar on it too.

I do believe the best setlist I've received from this band. I would take the 2003 one you posted above this one. Some of my favorites on that one for sure.

This sounds pretty good, but Norah looks petrified that Keith is going to...touch her or something.

End of an era. Charlie Watts has died. Shocking, even being aware of his age and his pulling out of the tour for health reasons.
