Nice collection Zen. I am not sure how to post pics, so I will wait to put up some of what I have (its not much). I wanted to comment on "Live in New York 1978. I remember going over to Oakland with some friends back in 79 or 80. I took BART into Berkeley and hoofed to a place I knew called "Rather Ripped Records." They carried many boots and I was wanting to look for another Aerosmith record. I picked up Live in New York 1978. When I got home later than night I opened it to find someone had replaced the boot with a copy of Toys in the Attic. I was not happy, but did learn a lesson about checking the contents. Boots generally were not sealed at that time.

I don't really have anything of collectible status, but when I got into Aerosmith in the late 80's, I was about 11 years old. I would save the money I got from my allowance and shoveling and doing chores for our elderly neighbors.
Then, every couple of weeks, I would go shopping with my mom. I would sneak over to the music store and I would always find an Aerosmith cassette for about 10 bucks. After about 2 years of this, I finally completed the collection...Only to find cassettes had become obsolete and I had to do the whole damn thing over with CD's...
I remember how excited that I would be to find a new album that I hadn't heard before. This was pre-internet, so I was never exactly sure how many there were until I finally got them all (Although I was totally perplexed by Gems-I thought it was a studio album but then I would find these deep tracks spread all over the other albums).
Not the worst hobby to spend a childhood pursuing! I was collecting the soundtrack of my life...I just didn't know that's what I was doing yet!!!

Yeah, I gave one to a friend around 8 years ago and I was surprised when he told me he had used it! I never once thought of them as anything other than a cool Aerosmith collectible.

I used a band condom when I was in high school hahah. It was some random band that I don't even think I listened too hahaha. Sorry if that was TMI, that forgotten memory just popped back in my mind. Now it is going to bother me all day until I remember what band it was!

Vintage Aero iron-on... I have an Aero Midnight Special iron-on too (no pic of that tho): My MTV Icon lip balm . . . I'll have to dig it out and take a better pic, on the front it says "Want Lips Like Steven Tyler? Dream On." Tom's finger . . . . DWM pin, first Aero album I bought with my own money ... dude at the record store gave me the pin when I bought it. Fenway pre-party lanyard Fenway poster . . .. Brad's sig on the sheet music for Last Child I ripped from my book last minute . . . . Joey's sig on Pandora's Box sheet music . . . . AF1 swag.... a little hand-held fan that shows "Aerosmith" followed by all the band members names in lights as it spins. It has Rats & Thighs, but no Big Ten Inch. Funny . . . Rag Doll vinyl single . . . Vinyl box set, The First Decade... found it at a garage sale years ago a little worse for wear. It's stamped "Demonstration - Not For Sale"... odd thing is, Ruts has a stamp on the back that says "For Military Sale Only"... Wings, Rocks, DTL, and Bootleg are stamped for "For Promotion Only - Ownership Reserved By CBS - Sale Is Unlawful"... Aerosmith, Toys, and Greatest Hits aren't stamped at all. Quilmes bottle with ST's likeness... San Diego 11.05.02 - hat # 4 got me onstage in AeroCafe. Just Push Play CD cover signed by the entire band... won one of those Dodge contests they had going on at the time: ............. more to come.

My Obscenies Collection . . . I must preface the pics with the backstory. At MTV Icon my hat got me front row at the ^A^ stage in front of Brad & Tom . . . I didn't think I'd be able to get the hat to Steven there, but Tom helped me out. He remembered it from the Camden show the year before, where I failed to get to get it ST at the B stage, and struck up a bit of a convo with me between plays of Girls Of Summer (they were filming for the vid sans ST). On a whim I asked him if he would give the hat to Steven for me and he happily obliged. He literally ran backstage with it to try and catch Steven before he bolted. When Tom returned, hatless, he said he couldn't find Steven but that he gave it to ST's "girl" and he'd definitely get it........... and he did. Anyhoo . . . . at some point Tom started signing autographs from the stage, and used my pen to do it. Only I didn't get one. I did get a Tom hug afterwards though, outside the hangar they filmed in. Soon after, Tom was offering up signed Obscenies for sale. My (now) ex contacted the girl there and told her the whole hat story and about me not getting an autograph . . . Tom remembered, and I wound up getting an entire set of Obscenies not just signed, but personalized . . . as well as tee shirts, tank tops, baby dolls, boxers, briefs, a Coin Puss, key chains, stickers, temp tattoos . . . !!! The Tall Cool One knows how to treat a fan right!!! \m/ Group pic with everything (except the xmas Obscenie, dunno why that wasn't in there with the rest).Mr. Happy . . . . and his balls . . . This tee's siggy exists not anymore, sadly my ex wore it and washed it thinking the sharpie would stay.
