Begets the question why aren't most of these ass clown humans wearing muzzles more often? Give the rest of us some quiet and solitude.

I petted a big fluffy husky today.
And then I started wondering whether I should have.
I mean... if I had a dog, would I be fine with random strangers touching it with the same hands they touched stuff in the supermarket they just came out of?
If you have a dog, how do you feel about that?
I went to the supermarket this morning, there was a guy walking three dogs around, one of them a big fluffy husky. He was still going around with them when I came out. Then I remembered about the used batteries I was supposed to drop there too, went back for that and when I came out again he was coming with the dogs (was being dragged by the dogs?) towards the entrance. There wasn't enough space for me to pass by them in between parked cars, so I stopped, but, while the other two dogs kinda ignored me, the big husky came towards me... tongue out, tail up, all that sass! So I did it, I petted his head...

So I did it, I petted his head... Forget the owner. The dog would've been offended if you DIDN'T offer up the pets! 🤨 Personally, I have no problem with my dogs getting pets from strangers. It happens all the time. The only concern is that people don't come at them in a boisterous manner. That makes them, especially our border collie, very twitchy. It's best to let the dog decide. If the dog comes to you, it's all fair game! Oh, and just for the record, treats are always welcomed. The dogs insisted I add that.
