I'm curious how Coop and Zen ended up liking Mr. Mercedes. I'm thinking of picking it up next. Worth it?

I thought it was quite good. Not his best ever, but SK is always good, for me anyway. I'd recommend it.

I thought it was quite good. Not his best ever, but SK is always good, for me anyway. I'd recommend it. I finally finished it a couple of weeks ago. Really enjoyed it! SK has such a distinctive flavor, but this book....not so much? Am I imagining things? It was pretty straight-forward, kind of like Joyland. Dr. Sleep kind of got into the weird rambling that King (IMO) does so well.....

Reading 'Revival' now. It started off strong, then was a little weak for awhile, but now its picking up steam again. I'm just under 100 pages. Given the fact that I normally read less than 10 pages per day, I guess that says something (it came out yesterday).

^ So, I have mixed feelings about this book. I'm about 3/4 of the way through, and if it was anyone but SK I probably would have given up by now. Some parts are good, but other parts are too slow, and some of it is just painful to read. Kind of depressing in a way.
