President Bush was prophetic when he warned what would happen if we left Iraq before the commanders on the ground say it's time. I might also add, we are about to make the same mistake in Afghanistan which will give the terrorists two places to operate out of along with Syria...

Yes, yes, yes. We took the tyrant out. We should not have left a "new country" on its own with no management. Had we left just a basic amount of military there it all would have been alright. Fucking charge them. Pay the staff there double. Turn it into a great job for those there. But the last thing we should have done was just completely walk away. We laugh that those in Washington are clueless. I never want to actually believe it. But this Iraq thing is one more step for me to realize we are in trouble. To those who say Saddam had to go because he was evil.........ISIS is worst. Not our place over there? Saddam had two evil sons to step in his place. Iraq would have been basically "ok" had we just left the government in place.

Those in Washington are not clueless What's scarier, is that they probably know exactly what they are doing. We are in ginormous trouble, with a leader who has zero military experience. Yay! Maybe he played Risk or something as a kid. Do you guys remember that scene, I think it was in Braveheart where they set up camp...in the wide open(but didn't sleep in the tents...just sat and watched from the hill)... and the enemy snuck in with sheepskins over them in an ambush? I feel like ISIS and whoever we're worried about are already here and they're gonna whip that wool off one day soon. Hope someones watching from that hill with some serious weaponry.

One thing I would change about the qualifications for President would be the need for military service. If you are going to be the Commander in Chief of the United States Military you need to know what the military is all about. Think about it...it would be like me becoming the Chief of Staff of a major hospital. I wouldn't have a clue what to do so how long before the hospital would fail and people die? Also, having run some kind of business would be a good idea too since obviously being a Community Organizer in Chicago hasn't worked out so great.
