Maybe these 10 or so children are over racism. But the adults who pushed them into this video are not. It seems the adults who made up the story that this kid had his hands up surrendering are not over racism. I wasn't taught to be racist. I didn't learn it in my life. Even in my "sheltered white life" I have never had a white person say something racist about any race to me until I lived in Missouri which I surmised is the beginning of the south. The people of the south need to get over losing the war. The people who's great great great grand parents were held as slaves need to get over that fact. Slavery has existed through out history. I have been told we are the only society to go to war to end it. 300,000 northern white men gave their lives to end slavery. John Brown is the true father of anti slaver and black rights. Why is his life not celebrated? He pretty much knew he was going to die when his dozen or so counterparts headed to Virginia. People really are too enlightened today to not forget (in the course of a basic day of life) that a segment of society was prejudiced because of a skin color that I know I spent a fortune trying (and failing) to get as close to as possible in my life.
