Again on the 'Name That Tune' game this morning, two callers in a row were given Last Child. The first one passed and the second one said "It's Aerosmith...uh...uh....Walk This Way?"

Don't ask why, but I was just searching for fun survey questions and I saw this one, with the answer:

Not really a mention but this morning Fox News had a story about Hollywood celebrities crying about Obama leaving so they played a clip of Aerosmith's Cryin'. It was so perfect lol! I wonder if Steven will want to send a cease and desist order to Fox now lol!

Just watching Inside Amy Schumer and there was a skit about a guy that had to skip everywhere because his doctor prescribed it as a way to beat his depression. Amy gets really sick of it and wants to break up. They are walking down the road and a guy steals her purse, so the skipper skips after the mugger and eventually gets him to the ground and gets the purse back. Amy is then all apologetic and says she is sorry for being such a jerk about the skipping. The guy says something like, "No it was me, I'll change, I'm going to throw out all my Aerosmith tee shirts" She says "No, I never liked those shirts, but I support you"

I was spacing out on the ride in this morning as the DJs were chattering away when suddenly I heard "Joey Kramer" which snapped me out of it. The part I caught was "...Joey Kramer stiffed us pretty bad, but it was a great letter and we appreciate the coffee. I'll be brewing the mocha java Sunday" Then, during the Name That Tune game, they used Aerosmith songs for 3 callers. The first one passed on No More No More, the second passed on Under Pressure, passed on School's Out and thought that Mama Kin was Living After Midnight and finally the third one correctly got Mama Kin.

I'll take whatever I can get...just don't wait for Joey Kramer to show up"

I'm trying really hard to understand how... As a fan of both bands, I'm shaking my head, but I guess I can see the mistake to the casual rock fan. They both start with distinct, pronounced, distorted chords.

DJs were talking about J. Geils passing and they said something like "There were only 3 bands holding down the Boston rock scene back in the 70s, well, there was Aerosmith of course, but they were really a New Hampshire band, so there was J. Geils, The Cars, and Boston"
Ok, true enough, but nobody really thinks of Aerosmith as a NH band. And I'm from NH, so as much as I wish it was true, we all know Aerosmith as The Bad Boys From Boston.

Not precisely a mention, but I certainly thought of Aerosmith when I saw this at Bed Bath and Beyond today.
