Can open. Worms everywhere. Seriously, this should be good. Seems we have a very respectful group though.

This is an excellent idea for a forum. Darryl always enjoy this sort of thing and so do I, even though we never agree, but we always used to discuss religion and politics at AF1.

Tomass gets all the credit for this one, from concept to creation, and I think its a good idea as well. Those who don't want to see this stuff don't have to be exposed to it, and those who do have a place where they can.
Heated discussions or not though, let's keep it civil.

Not me! Just take a look at my profile status title (Not sure why the quoted part got cut out. I was referring to the "respectful" comment)

All I can do is smile at all this. I love it when I read about people who dislike the president more than I do. Makes me feel less crazy.

All I can do is smile at all this. I love it when I read about people who dislike the president more than I do. Makes me feel less crazy. I didn't vote for Obama in 08 or 12. I argue with my wife over her hatred of the man. I don't hate him. I respectfully disagree with his ideologies & policies. I respect the man and the office of the President of the United States. I think he is a good person. I suspect he is a good father. He has a beautiful family and I can see they mean the world to him. I believe he loves his country. I see no reason to call him names or hurl vitriolic insults at him. He is a human being and as President of my country, I will give him his due respect, all though I disagree with much of his politics & world vision. I started following politics when I was 25 and listened to Limbaugh daily. I hated Clinton during the 90's. Now I'm older and wiser and realize that most political figures we disagree with are not the monsters that their foes make them out to be. We simply have different opinions on world views. America will survive the Obama era. Our constitution will see to that. The American political pendulum swings from conservative to liberal, but will always balance itself out when things get to far skewed one way. Respect President Obama, articulate your views and contemplate views other than your own and you will see that hating those you disagree with gets you absolutely nowhere. Peace-

Agreed on all of your Obama comments.
Hence why I use the word "dislike" as opposed to "hate."

Well, I for one don't believe he loves this country. He hates the military, he doesn't even wear a flag lapel pin which all President's before him did. He just stands with his hands folded at his stomach during the Pledge and National Anthem. Everything he does helps in destroying what was once a great nation. He hates the Constitution and violates it any chance he gets. He appoints the most radical Muslims and communists he can find for cabinet members. He lies every time he moves his lips. He's the most divisive President this country has ever had. If he was white he would have been impeached years ago. Think about it...Nixon TRIED to use the IRS to go after his political opponents and the IRS told Nixon to get bent. This guy has his fellow communists in charge at the IRS so they bow to his every order. The IRS offices are filled with Obama bumper stickers! If Bush did the same things this guy is doing he would have been put in prison...never mind impeached! And what about Moochelle Obama? Ever look at what she did to school lunches lately? People in prison eat better than the kids in school... www.infowars.com/michelle-obamas-school-lunches-in-pictures-is-that-photo-taken-from-death-row/Michelle Obama’s School Lunches In Pictures: “Is That Photo Taken From Death Row?” The Alex Jones Channel Alex Jones Show podcast Prison Planet TV Infowars.com Twitter Alex Jones' Facebook Infowars store Mac Slavo SHTFPlan.com April 9, 2014 One of the purported successes of Michelle Obama’s tenure as First Lady of the United States has been to help Americans get fit and eat right. She’s launched a wide array of initiatives targeting Americans receiving government nutritional benefits, as well as school lunch programs across the nation. Nowhere have the First Lady’s efforts been more visible than in the cafeteria’s of America’s schools. Within days of Obama’s new USDA regulations taking hold parents and schoolchildren launched complaints surrounding the rationing of meals, a move that left kids hungry and school districts frustrated with all of the additional paperwork and program expenses. The USDA subsequently upped the rations to assuage frustration. But according to America’s kids Michelle Obama has been “out to lunch” when it comes to satisfying hunger. It’s so bad, in fact, that black markets for food have popped up in schools and kids are taking to their social media pages to share their outrage. Do you want to see what Michelle Obama considers eating right? Check out these pictures and comments – sourced directly from government run cafeterias around the country. As you see what passes for health food these days keep in mind that school’s are increasingly restricting children from bringing their own lunches from home, often citing nutritional requirements as the reason. An appetizing ham and cheese tortilla wrap: Chili cheese dog with a side of veggies: Can I get another scoop of brown with a sprinkle of yellow? Oh, and don’t forget my biscuit! Seconds anyone? When mom joined her daughter for lunch, here’s the wonderful meal prepared by the caring cafeteria staff: On the flip side, here is what Michelle Obama’s children enjoy for lunch at the Sidwell Friends school attended by her daughters Sasha and Malia. In this particular case the school was paying a tribute to Pearl Harbor Day and the kids feasted on Asian Mushroom Soup, Oriental Noodle Salad, Teriyaki Marinated Chicken Strips, Garlic Roasted Edamame, Vegetable Fried Rice and Fortune Cookies for dessert: And of course, how can we talk about healthy eating, school lunches, and Michelle Obama without mentioning the White House organic vegetable garden? The First Lady shows of her green thumb in the picture below. It turns out, however, that because of her busy schedule she didn’t actually grow any of her food. The White House gardeners did, and they did a heck of a job. Straight from America’s organic gardens to school lunch tables coast to coast. When mom joined her daughter for lunch, here’s the wonderful meal prepared by the caring cafeteria staff:
