Does anybody watch sitcoms anymore?
My all-time favorite, hands down, is "Home Improvement" starring Tim Allen. The writing, the acting, and the relationships all just absolutely cracked me up and still do to this day. One of the few shows that pretty much always makes me laugh out loud.
I would also rank "Boy Meets World" as one of my favorites, and "Spin City" is definitely up there too.
Of course, those are all old shows. My favorite one currently on TV is "Last Man Standing," which is basically "Home Improvement" rebooted with three girls instead of three boys.
I'm not really a fan of shows like "Modern Family" and "Parks and Rec." For me, a sitcom is filmed in front of a live studio audience.
What are your all-time favorite sitcoms and which ones are you watching right now?

Seinfeld. That show still makes me laugh. My wife got me the entire series on DVD last Christmas. I watch it while on the treadmill. I need a reason to climb on board that thing!

Some good ones mentioned here, Taxi, Two and a Half Men, Boy Meets World, Seinfeld... My recent favorites are The Middle, How I Met Your Mother (RIP), and Big Bang Theory. Some from the past are Happy Days, Gilligan's Island, News Radio, and too many others to think of this early.

Ah, Friends and The Wonder Years, how could I forget those? I actually have the complete series of The Wonder Years bootlegged on DVD. That may be my all time favorite series in any category.

I actually have the complete series of The Wonder Years bootlegged on DVD. That may be my all time favorite series in any category. Wow! I only watched a few episodes here and there with that show. I think I was too young at the time to appreciate it. FYI, the complete series is coming to (official) DVD from Time Warner sometime in the second half of 2014. Music licensing has been the hold-up, as it is with most classic shows that haven't quite made it to DVD yet. The Adam West Batman series is another example of this, though it too will be hitting DVD later this year. How do I know all this without being a Wonder Years fan? I'm a movie and TV collector/junkie.

Cheers is great. Love Frasier also. That was a show I didn't appreciate until I was older. The episode High Holidays is one of the funniest episodes of any show I've ever seen.

Love 'Big Bang Theory' and the first 8 years of '2 1/2 men' ( with Charlie Sheen), but my all time fave is an aussie one called 'All Together Now' the first how ever many years until they started replacing characters.
I think you would all like the plot line, has been 60's/70's rocker with seriously sleazy manager discovers he has twins (now 15 years old), and the ensuing antics are rather hilarious. They have never released it on dvd and all I can find on the net is the odd episode here and there. Jon English the guy that stars in it is actually a famous aussie rocker, actor/comedian. I found an episode that plays intact, but not one of the funniest ones;
