I am watching Scorsese & Jagger's Vinyl. Not great but really good, especially if you like Rock and Roll history.

I am watching Scorsese & Jagger's Vinyl. Not great but really good, especially if you like Rock and Roll history. I’ve seen commercials for this it’s peaked my interest by my ancient TV might have me wait for it on DVD.
A friend of mine, the woman I want to marry I might add, has me watching a show called Revenge that’s got my interest.

A couple good things on Netflix...
The original Alfred Hitchcock Presents from 1955. Cool tales told with a dry sense of humor.
And...American Genius. This series tells the story of true life rivalries in the field of invention. So far they have covered Gates vs Jobs (awesome!), The Wright Brothers vs Glenn Curtiss, and the inventor of TV, Philo Farnsworth vs RCA owner David Sarnoff. This is a great series so far, highly recommended.

Its worth checking out, the first episode(the pilot) is a little long, but it gets better.

Roots: 2016 version.
Its been a long time since I've seen the original, but this one seems fairly true to that. Maybe because I was younger the first one seemed to have a little more magic and punch though. Still, I'm enjoying it.

Hubert Sumlin, this is the man believed to have come up with the Smokestack Lightnin' lick. I could listen to this man tell stories all day long.

"Lost" on Netflix. Not sure why I never watched this when it was new, but wow, what a great surprise.

A Russian documentary on Amur leopards. Kind of depressing so far. Search of places where skins are sold after poachers escape so that maybe the keepers from the park can identify the animal they lost...

Just started rewatching 21 Jump Street. So far aside from the theme song and some of the very dated language in the first few episodes it's holding up.

"Don't Stop Believing" on Netflix. The story of Arnel Pineda's rise from basically homeless to lead singer for Journey. I gotta say, watching the documentary and seeing how great he is makes me want to go see them. And Neil Schon, f'in amazing guitarist as well.

Bought this on iTunes couple weeks ago, and I have Netflix.

I'm leaving this here to remind myself to watch this online since I forgot to watch it tonight and it looks pretty good. A new series inspired by The Exorcist, but not the same story apparently.
