I know my platform won't get much support around here most likely, but if anyone wants to support my bid to become the 2016 Republican nominee for President, here is the page! Yes, I even officially registered as a candidate with the Federal Elections Committee...not that I expect to receive $5000 in donations lol! www.facebook.com/darrylsmithforpresident

^ Thanks for quoting him, I would have had no idea what you were talking about otherwise. Good question though. Darryl, If you win, who will you have play at your inauguration party?

Aerosmith of course will play at the inauguration party! I would be tempted to have Carrie Underwood and Britney there but I would be afraid Steven would be too tempted to want to perform with them. So other performers would be Gov't Mule, George Thorogood, the Slide Brothers and Jackyl.
As for race relations, no one has been worse for race relations and set race relations behind more than Barack Obama. This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. One of the first things that need to happen is to put race baiters like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton out to pasture and promote positive role models for young black people such as Dr. Ben Carson, Herman Cain, and other black leaders that have succeeded in starting businesses, athletes, and entertainers that haven't bought into Barack's racist America diatribe and work with community leaders.
The biggest thing is to do things to create job growth in urban areas which have been hit the hardest by Obama's job destroying policies. You promote job growth and work and educational opportunities, not just for minorities, but for all low income Americans and that will be a big step to making this country great again.
I also believe that all young people should be able to go to college or trade school no matter what their income is. The money to make this happen doesn't have to come from government. I know many trucking companies pay for people to complete their truck driver training, so why not encourage businesses, religious organizations and individuals to do the same thing? Why not provide tax incentives for businesses to offer free schooling to help them have a better educated, better trained work force? Not all solutions have to come from government.
We also have to realize, that even though a large majority of police officers in this country are great cops, there are some that slip through the cracks and break the law. But I don't believe every act of police brutality should be a federal investigation. These are local and state matters best handled by local and state governments. Of course, if my justice department is asked to investigate a case of brutality we will do so, but people have to know if it's something that's being dealt with or is being dealt with by local and state authorities, there really is nothing that is going to happen at the federal level. There is nothing in the US Constitution that gives the federal government jurisdiction over state and local police departments.

I am now ending my presidential campaign. The donation link is still active and since I had no donations (surprise) I am changing my gofundme page to donations for home improvement projects.

Yes, I was saving my pennies to donate, but like Fred Thompson, the last person I gave money to, you quit early. It could have been life changing sir, it could have been good for America .
