Black Sabbath - The End (live recording of the last show of the last tour) Tom Keifer - The Way Life Goes (Deluxe Edition with Bonus DVD) Lyriel - Skin & Bones Tommy Henriksen - StarStruck Insomnium - Shadows of the Dying Sun Can you believe I didn't have this one? They're one of my biggest musical obsessions and, while I was broken when Ville Vänni left, I loved their first album with Markus from the first time I heard it. It was on a very frustrating night in Warsaw in a way too fancy hotel for me... where I couldn't even figure out how to use a lot of stuff... Dynazty - Titanic Mass Dynazty are some kids from Sweden. I stumbled upon one of their songs back in November and was instantly hooked.

Black Sabbath - The End (live recording of the last show of the last tour) I was stood beside the cameras when that was recorded, with the VIPs (close family) located in the area just behind them. So I doubt you’ll see me on any of the footage! Interesting fact - my mate and I both wondered what a digital counter on the cameras represented. It took a while, but eventually we both agreed that it was the time. *facepalm*

^Yeah, me too. Also, I'm seeing them this year. Fun fact: the first guitar pick I ever got was from Phil. It was only my second concert ever and the guys next to me taught me I can ask for guitar picks.

Hopefully i’ll get plenty of stuff at the Steel Panther gig in a couple of weeks!

Saxon - Thunderbolt
I got it as part of the tour VIP package I bought. It's free entry + M&G for all non-festival shows of the current tour, the album in all formats, physical ones signed, two bonus CDs (I think one is album demos and the other one live recordings from previous tours) a limited edition t-shirt not available to purchase otherwise, video recordings of three full concerts, guitar picks "and a one special treat only available as part of this package" "plus special packaging ".
Oh, the price? £200 for all of this. I almost feel guilty I didn't pay more.
The physical stuff hasn't arrived yet, I just got the email notifying me it got sent. Well, everything in Romania moves with the speed of a snail, so eh...
The email with digital downloads did arrive at 0:00 on the album launch day, so I've been listening to that. Was really curious about the track with Johan Hegg from Amon Amarth, since his vocal style is so different from Biff's... well, combined with some very interesting arrangements, it really worked out, it's one of my faves, along with Nosferatu' (which they shot a video for... can't wait to see it!) and Roadie Song (very catchy). And the tribute song is cool. As far as tribute songs go, Kreator's Fallen Brother is still my personal fave, it's harsh and gloomy and you can almost feel the pain clawing your body. Saxon's They Played Rock and Roll is a bit more light-hearted nostalgia which is probably what they were going for anyway. Still a good song.
Overall, very much in their style. As a fan, I'm happy with that.
