Big lollies. It's all cool at the beginning, but then the sugar is too much and what do you do? Do you take it out of your mouth and put it on something so that it gathers some dust before you put it into your mouth again, or do you throw it away even though you've paid money for it? This was written because I'm bored to death with the cinnamon one in my mouth right now. Funny memory: the first time I saw Motörhead live was at a more mainstream festival and they were giving away (yesss, for free! ) lollies and juice and some other stuff. I still remember the lolly I got - it was big, round, green with a white swirling pattern

When companies contact me with vague offers, saying they can't give details until I say I'm interested, but don't fail to mention I'd be a "perfect fit". Don't waste my time.

Parades. I'm down in Florida this week visiting the amusement parks, and at random times they just block all the roads and roll out these floats blaring terrible music as everyone breaks into song and dance. Last night at Universal the parade must have been a half mile long. There may have been more people in the parade than in the park. We were trying to get out before the Uber rates skyrocketed. We tried to keep walking towards the back but it was tough with the amount of people gathered in tight spots and the floats just kept coming and coming. I never understood the appeal of these things, I understand if a team wins a championship, but the song and dance ones.....just giant cluster-effs.

Nobody I work with or see on regular basis is willing or able to hold a decent conversation about music. Fucking sucks. They can talk weather and news events until I feel like I'm gonna puke. But, when it comes to the coolest thing humans ever invented, Rock N' Roll,........... nothing.

Agreed that is a tragically sad comment, and I've heard a number of people mumble similar things too. On the other hand, those people would likely turn around and tell me that it is sad that a grown man still listens to Rock N Roll music. Many adults above 30 just allow themselves to be 100% consumed by work and kids and just think that's the way it has to be. Depressing...........uuhhhhhhhhh

Weak people. Which seems to be most people these days.
The kind who waste a shit ton of their and your time just because they don't have an umbrella and they didn't want to get wet. Ffs, you're not made out of paper. Water won't melt you. WTF is wrong with you, don't you fucking shower?
The kind who say they are "starving" if they've missed a meal. Ahem, starving happens when you haven't been eating for day and weeks. Unlikely for anyone living in a city because there's always garbage when there isn't money. It does however happen for a lot of people.
The kind who react as if walking between two bus stops is a death sentence. Dude, you have two perfectly functional legs, you're fully capable of walking, you're just fucking lazy and whiny.

When people feel as if they HAVE to race past you just because there is a passing zone, even when you are already going 10 over the posted limit.

People who are traveling 15 miles under the speed limit in a no passing zone who quickly speed up to 15 miles over the speed limit when the passing lane opens. Or perhaps this is a first world problem, but it is still a peeve of mine.

I like when people volunteer to be the pack leader as long as they keep speeding after they pass. I don't like going more than 10 miles over the limit when nobody is in front of me. Therefore, I try to get someone else to be the front line to the speed traps, give them a nice buffer, then keep pace in their wake. I've been trailing quite a few cars like this when they were pulled over for speeding.

But, when it comes to the coolest thing humans ever invented, Rock N' Roll,........... nothing. I generally don't talk to people about music much, I feel like I've had too many awkward conversations. Most of the music I listen to is pretty bandwagon, which music snobs don't approve of. Actually, this reminds me of a few of my pet peeves regarding conversations about musical preferences. - People who only listen to indie music, and any band on a major label is a sell out
- People who like a band/poop star for their social views, then go on a tangent about that
- People over 15 whose basis for coolness and their social circle on the type of music people listen to
- People who answer "Dave" when you ask them what type of music they like
- People who try to convert me to liking their weird/obscure music, I'm perfectly happy listening to what the classic rock stations play

All very good points. I hope I'm not coming across as a music snob. Didn't mean that. I would be happy talking with anyone about music, whatever they listen to. I know what you mean about awkward music conversations, I remember having some of those especially in high school. People would be overly judgemental or overly defensive. Nowadays though in my middle aged life the people I'm around on a daily basis don't seem to have much to say about anything, music-wise. Its just a bummer. I would even trade one of those awkward music conversations for any one of the endless conversations I end up in about the rain or traffic or commutes or listening to someone complain about their kids.

I've been trailing quite a few cars like this when they were pulled over for speeding. On the interstate this is exactly what I do, I keep the guy going 15 over just in my sight up front so the cops catch him first. On a 2-way road though it is annoying as hell when they smell blood when they see the passing zone and race past you as if you are grand ma, and then they don't go any faster once they are in the lead.

Oh no, not at all. You're posting on an Aerosmith message board, the exact opposite of what I'd consider a musical snob! I think it's great to like new music, unfortunately I think most people tend to listen to the music they listened to in their teenage years. I can't think of the last record I bought from a newer band, so I don't imagine I'd be too interesting to discuss music with. Most passionate music fans would probably view me as part of the problem for the current state of rock music.
