Well, I should be seeing the boys tonight and on Thursday also. Instead, stuck at my home and going into work for a few hours tomorrow. What a disappointment! I splurged on one set of the tickets and purchased the hologram tickets. I made a shadow box today with a pix of all 5 from July 4 last year, the regular tickets, and the special hologram tickets. I plan on listening to Aerosmith music tonight and Thursday night to feel like I'm at a show. I may even pop in one of the concert DVDs I have.

Well, last night was 366 days since I've seen Aerosmith. Seeing Steven's tweet on twitter waving the flag brought back really good memories of July 4, 2019.

Awesome news! Even though I have tickets to the Fenway show and don't have much interest in gambling, I may need to plan a trip to Vegas.

I just saw it.
Rationally, I understand why it's easier for them, but damn, it sure stings to know they are playing shows... and I cannot see them.

ugh sad I can't go this time I'm in the midst of a house renovation and waiting for my job to be secured with a new contract so I don't see holidays anytime soon for me...
MAYBE, December 8th is a possibility as I have a short week for a national holiday but I don't know if I can spend the money. Also My head hurts when I try to understand what's needed for travel when it comes to covid restrictions...
anyway they still have to refund me the Budapest show!

They talk about it from time to time, but I think they've only put out 2, Texas Jam '78 and Donington '14. Woodstock 94 and a Detroit '14 were broadcast live at the time and are available to stream but that's the extent of their actual concert releases.

Strictly a Columbia/CBS cash grab, once the band went to Geffen. I remember them being unhappy about it, citing it as a substandard show. I like it. Thank you, Columbia.

the fans are coming from the guys on instagram under the announcement post. Very disappointed that the Eu dates got canceled and now they're doing this in the same time frame.
Look, I don't blame them, USA is home for them also they're not even giving the american fans a proper tour and between covid Nazi restrictions, energy prices soaring and a war against Russia approaching because EU leaders are absolutely reckless in handling the Ukraine crisis, a las Vegas residench is the safest and most lucrative way to go.
EU should have thought of this and created a residency market in Paris or London to compete with Vegas instead we eat dust...

On the subject of professional videos, there was also 'You Gotta Move'. Had a belting version of 'Rats....' if I remember correctly. And that 'Making of Pump' one. And 'Video Scrapbook'.
Got me thinking..... Where's the rest of the '76 Pontiac Silverdome, '78 Texxas Jam, '78 Cal Jam, '87 Texxas Jam footage? We've had tasters, but where's the rest? Someone's sat on it.

Vegas, here I come. Now I just need to decide the dates. I want to go in June, because you never know what may happen. But June in Vegas is brutal! I'm sure I'll pick two June dates, and then dates in November or December. Just can't wait!!!

I loved the version of Boogie Man (Yeah, I know, a 2 minute instrumental, but I always loved that tune)
