"The shows I'm seeing on April 8 and April 11 are mobile events only from Ticketmaster. This is a new one for me. They say you can't print tickets. My tickets for July are actual tickets and I already have those in hand."
WHAT?!? so you cant buy a ticket outside the venue Before show on april 8 or 11 if someone is willing to sell?

yes you can. mobile tickets can be transferred via email. the purchaser would need a ticketmaster account though and would have to accept the tickets in the app. then the ticket is are transferred to their name with a new bar code/QR code and they are the owner of those seats from that point on.

i mean it takes like less than 30 sec to transfer, its pretty easy. I would also imagine every single person going has a cell phone. the tickets that are mobile only are because those folks selected that delivery. I would imagine the re sellers will have hard tickets. I have hard tickets because i save ticket stubs.

I would also imagine every single person going has a cell phone. But not necessarily a smartphone. I don't have a smartphone. Working in tech, it often feels like I'm the only one, but then I go to concerts and find out I'm most definitely not.

When purchasing tickets here in the states its often cheaper to not have the tickets printed mailed. so you can have a e-ticket delivered to the app. It has its ups and downs. When buying secondary market tickets i prefer the electronic ticket because you know its not fake when its transferred to you.

When buying secondary market tickets i prefer the electronic ticket because you know its not fake when its transferred to you. It is cheaper not to have them mailed in Europe as well. I collect them, so I know that very well. I've only bought a ticket from a reseller when I saw Alice Cooper in Dublin though and that was through an official ticketmaster reseller site. And only because all tickets were gone otherwise. This is something that has really made e-tickets take off in Romania in recent years. The option of buying a pretty cardboard ticket has completely gone away in the past couple of years. Not that tickets were ever truly pretty, but at least you used to get the band logo/ specific font on them. This was the case with my first ever Aerosmith ticket, it had the logo on it. You can still get a printed ticket now, but it's going to be just a black and white piece of plain paper with a code. You don't even get the band logo on it, everything is all in the same plain old boring font. I can still get pretty tickets for concerts abroad though. My first concert abroad was Motörhead in Paris some 5 years ago and the ticket didn't have full artwork all over, but at least it had a square photo of the band in a corner and the band logo really big in the middle. When I saw Kreator in Poland, they wouldn't ship hard tickets internationally, but I got told that I can exchange my printed ticket for a collector's one at the venue and I got the prettiest thing ever. In Germany, they have the option of getting something called a "fan ticket" for some of the bigger shows - a cardboard ticket with the show poster artwork all over and this is what I got for the Aerosmith and Hollywood Vampires shows I saw there. Delivery wasn't cheap, 7-8 euro every time, but at least the tickets looked great and got delivered really fast. When buying tickets through eventim in Germany though, I normally have them sent to a friend living there or actually buy them from a physical sale point (and there are plenty of them) if I'm there a few months before because they charge a completely ridiculous 35 fucking euro for an international delivery (fan ticket or not) - um, what? I've only bought a single ticket from them that was more than that and if I have the ticket sent to someone in Germany, that's 4.90 euro for them to deliver it and then 0.90 euro for my friend to mail it to me to Romania.

what is hard ticket? not from usa sorry. do they (re Sellers ) sell paper tickets on april 8 , 11 ? An old school little rectangle paper ticket. It usually cost a few bucks extra to get them these days and I always try t when they are available. Yes some re-sellers sell paper tickets and have to mail them to you but for the most part even when someone has paper tickets they can usually just transfer or print the digital tix as well.

Registered here this morning after long-time lurking...
I was there Monday night with my 21 yr old son in the front row on the floor, stage right. It was fucking wild watching these guys up so close because the monitors must not have been working. Steven was PISSED. Mama Kin barely got off the ground and Love in an Elevator stopped completely. Watched Steven bitch at Joey...watched him bitch at Suzie...watched him bitch at Brad...watched him bitch at the sound guys...
The Set List was AWESOME! I fist-bumped Tom and had a BLAST! All in all, a real Rock Show.
