Pretty much obvious from e legal point of view. He really went berserk and honestly made a fool of himself. I'm totally on his side but the lawsuit was too much. If he really cared so much for the Grammys, he should have made himself available for rehearsals much earlier instead of waiting to send an audition in mid January 10 days before the gig. I hope he's gonna be present anyway and hug with the other guys but his pride is hurt at this point so much I don't see him stepping in the spotlight after all this drama which honestly he started in the first place. Oh well glad I'm seeing them this June, it's likely gonna be all over by then.
I expect the band addressing this and having nice words for Joey at these next events.

Not set in his corner and was a good little boy. This is about a career.

Again maybe there were contracts and clauses we don't know about. They said they asked him back before but he refused/didn't show up and didn't demonstrate to be stable and apparently waited until early Jan to send auditions which were reviewed as lacking energy. Now we can't be the judge of that but with a live TV gig already booked maybe he couldn't be green-lit with so little notice. I really don't think this was personal and I fear he felt he could jump back in whenever he wanted but this event has other interests involved outside of Aerosmith so maybe that's the reason. He could have privately and nicely asked to join rehearsals with everybody else and his fill in and then make a decision all together afterwards instead of suing and making this public so unnecessarily. I don't know I can't see the other 4 guys as evil assholes forcing Joey out of the band for months.
I've found this:
A source close to the band confirmed to People that Kramer had to "test" for AEROSMITH's performances this week, but says it was a result of the drummer failing to attend multiple planned rehearsals.
"They had been inviting him to come back for the last six months since he's been away for whatever medical situation he's been dealing with," the source says. "He said, 'Yes, I'll come and rehearse' and kept not showing up. On the eve of the Grammys and MusiCares, he wanted to be back."
And more:
In July 2019, the band opined that Kramer was not able to properly operate the pedal on his bass drum and he hasn’t performed with them since. Furthermore, the filing discloses, Kramer entered a rehabilitation clinic for dependency issues but left early “against the recommendation of his addiction counselor.”
Guys I told you, he was on painkillers and the band wanted him away from Steven and to be healthy.

We are why they are getting a lifetime award. Have they said he is out of the band? No. They said he is not playing up to par. Then you construct a throne for him to sit on, on stage. You come up with a tape that he plays to. You put him on stage. You are wrong 100% Pillis.

Look all the lawsuit pages are getting out. Aerosmith is not a garage band anymore it's a big company and nothing is as easy as it seems.
Allegedly he used a 1990 agreement to make his case but it did not apply in this situation.

Steven gets high and falls off the stage or passes out on stage. Joey has less far to fall. Nothing is easy. But it can be done. It can be done before Joey has to lick Stevens feet to get on stage for what Steven has done in the past. If that is even the reason.

And Steven went to rehab and no one paid a visit to him at the hospital after that. Also this whole music cares is because of Steven Janie found which he has worked on alone with his manager not the band. The other guys just play.

Yes but not if he hasn't rehearsed in months because he had an addiction problem and skipped rehab, missed rehearsals and checks in only 10 days before a live TV show. Joey has all the rights to be there but he should have moved accordingly instead of expecting to jump in like nothing happened. He didn't recover from a flu..
