I was listening to an old bootleg from 1986 I think, ans Steven asked if the crowd wanted to hear some new Aerosmith. Then they launched into My Fist Your Face. That got me to thinking about the Aerosmith sound, and how it has evolved.
In many ways, I think that Done With Mirrors, is the last Aerosmith album that captured what the band is all about. I came into the Aerosmith world when Pump was released, and have always felt that it was the best album from the second coming era. However, in comparison to the original sound and groove, Done With Mirrors, seems to be closer to that sound than any other album from round 2!
Just my 2 cents!

I agree, great album.
Despite the timeline of the reunion though, I think most people consider PV to be the first of the 2nd generation albums.
