19. Aerosmith Dream On, rock fans. Aerosmith was a juggernaut of a group during its prime — which sat primarily in the 70s. The duo of Joe Perry and Steven Tyler captivated audiences with palpable energy on stage. Toys in the Attic was the first album putting Aerosmith on the proverbial map. From there, three high-profile albums followed — which ultimately skyrocketed the band into one of the world’s most known rock bands. Arguably the two songs Aerosmith is most known for are “Dream On” and “Walk This Way”. Full list here

There are (and were) many, many absolutely great bands out there and I can't imagine getting to like or trying to even force myself to like a band, just because some guy put them on some list. Even if they have millions of fans. Sorry. I know what I like. I like Aerosmith. So I think I could only use a list like that as a list of hints, what might be worth checking out. But anyway, for me there will always be only one truly magnificent band that really matters and gives me wings.... ^A^ PS. the closer Aerosmith is to the top of any such list, the less I bristle

^ To quote myself: I only like 2 bands...one is Aerosmith, and the other one isn't.

I find list like these humorous at best. Some schmuck comes out with list ranking bands, songs or bands albums and were supposed to take it as scripture because they say its so? Funny shit indeed. I'm sure AeroCooper is happy since his beloved Kiss beat Aerosmith and his beloved Styx beat both. Just another reason I find such list humorous at best. I don't thing its unfair to put bands that started in the 60's but had a very strong presence in the 70's on there. That said a band like The Doors, whom I like a lot, but barely existed in the 70's shouldn't be on there. Also where is Alice Cooper? and for the record AC/DC and Rush, much like Aerosmith, should be much higher on the list. List like this funny indeed. Now one might ask why would you take the time to comment on such lists you detest let alone look thru it? Well its fucking cold as hell in Pittsburgh, I'm bored shitless and have no desire to get of the couch so in short I've time to kill. I'd really just like to sit on said couch and drink beer all day to alleviate the boredom but at some point that would lead to getting off said couch every 3 minutes to run up the stairs to pee 25,000 times and I'm way too lazy for that today.

I don't despise these lists, I just take them as they are...one person's opinion. That being said, even though there are some good bands on this list, the rankings are a joke.

So what's wrong with portable urinal? Possibly nothing can't tell ya since I don't have one. I must be truly lethargic today both physically and mentally since the back porch is just six steps(ish) from the couch and a viable option.
