This is moronic. We had the Super Bowl party down here in Tampa with thousands of people together, no social distancing, no masks...or I should say, very few masks...and despite all the predictions of this being a super spreader event, cases are still going down. All for a cold you need to be tested to see if you have or not. At this rate, Aerosmith will never tour again. Yes, but what if anyone in the band caught it? Considering their age, it would be disastrous if any of them got it. Tom especially. I'd much rather wait for a tour than have one of them dead. I am sure the band members are old enough where they could or already have gotten the vaccine. If masks and vaccines worked, why do we have to still be afraid of doing anything?

Can you guys take this discussion somewhere else? You are in way too many threads. Or just give it up, none of you is going to convince the other one.

End of story

If the September Fenway show gets postponed that will be fucking ridiculous. The vaccine is out.. Cases are dropping.. Let the people who are scared stay home and let the rest of us live. At this point if you are vulnerable you can get a vaccine so we are past the "it isn't about you, it is about spreading it to other people" argument.
Let us live.. They are going to start letting fans go to Red Sox games at Fenway next month. By fall there should be no issue in letting them have a concert.. Stagger the rows if they have to.

Not to mention, the band could push the audience out further from the stage if they wanted to be extra safe.

It was bound to happen. Didn't you see it coming? The girl in the poster was sitting on Moscow this whole time. (yeah, yeah, that's actually Saint Petersburg she's sitting on, Moscow is way more down South... eh, details)

I understand people getting tired of the situation, it's really absurd but we need more months to vaccinate a good number of people and let hospitals run smoothly again.
Lockdowns are effective and big gatherings do indeed create spikes. Of course not all public events generate many covid cases but statistically they are very likely to do so when the virus is running fast and is not under control.
I know it seems we've wasted a year and we're not living our lives to the fullest but I'm sure my grandad thought the same when he had to go to war. His generation and all the people who've been through that hell never thought they had to fight or cope with that situation in the wealthy democratic world but they did.
Of course this is not a war but we're all facing a huge global crisis and we're all asked to make sacrifices. Countries that implemented stricter rules since the early stages are now in better shape but it's useless to cry over spilled milk. Let's try to be patient and cautious until more vaccines are on the way...They're all very effective and there are many reasons to be slightly optimistic about the future. Even if the virus is endemic at this point, yearly vaccinations could turn covid into less problematic illness.
In the meantime I'm collecting Aerosmith vinyls ❤ just got my hands on Draw the Line. Toys and rocks are on their way!

Damn now Milan and Zurich are back to back ugh. But I don't want to complain the situation is so messy it's a miracle they're still trying to make this tour happen.
So I'll do Zurich, Milan and Budapest. Hopefully gonna squeeze in a forth show prolly in UK.
What about you people? BTW my covid antibodies are still very high after almost 5 months so hopefully immunity will last longer than expected, I'm sure next summer is gonna be more relaxed with more than a year worth of vaccinations.
