Ok n, so my family and I were on a country drive and Spaced came up on my music mix flash drive. My wife said she’d never heard that song, which is a little strange because be crammed Aerosmith into her ears for 18 years now.
Anyhow, this got me thinking about the many songs that never see the light of day. Like Spaced, which is one of my favorites from GTW. This tune is never mentioned, I don’t think they ever played it live. So, it’s basically forgotten and buried,
What forgotten and buried tunes do you love?

Along with Spaced, I would say Movin' Out, Uncle Salty, and Lick and a Promise. I'm not sure if everyone else here would consider these songs to be forgotten and buried, but as far as I know Aerosmith hasn't performed any of them live.

I'd love to hear at least once Aint That A Bitch. Also You See Me Crying only got 1 play, such a shame. And, to close my Top 3, I would absolutely die to hear Full Circle again (I know, they played it on the Nine Lives tour, but come on, it's been 20+ years!!!! I even asked Brad if he could play at least a few bars in between songs, with no luck)

Also You See Me Crying only got 1 play, such a shame. This. Possibly my favorite ballad from any band, any time. This timeless classic should have been a staple since 1975.

Ted Spaced is indeed one they forgot about, but all the others have been played live. Movin' Out has made sets on and off for the past 20 years that I've been following them. They even played it in Vegas. It was also a staple during the amazing 2012 tour and it even made the short set for the Boston show. Not to mention it's on Classics Live II. Lick and a Promise... I can think of two times recently (well, during the past 20 years). One, on the 2012 tour. Two, in Japan, when they recorded Rock for the Rising Sun. Movin' Out made the set then too. Uncle Salty is more of a rarity, but it was a regular during the Just Push Play tour and then it got played again on the ill-fated Toys tour.

I think Ain't That a Bitch was never played because the vocals are so high, seems like I read that somewhere.

Yeah, apparently Steven said that it was just too hard to sing, and that if he sang it, he wouldn't be able to keep singing after that. Not every night, but come on, once a month during the Nine Lives tour, it could have happened. Same goes for You See Me Crying, not every night, but once in a while, as a special treat. Fans will love it either he reaches or not the high notes.

There were a lot of good songs from their "dark period" that are now pretty well buried. I'd love to see them perform something from NITR, DWM, or RIAHP. This is the best answer, IMO. They have a ton of underplayed songs, but outside of Let the Music Do the Talking, this era is completely forgotten and buried. I heard Steven recite, but not sing, the first verse of No Surprize once. I know he does that from time to time, and it's probably the closest they've come to touching anything from those albums in 35 years.

Apart from the obvious three I'd say all of the first album. Make It is such a good opener can't see why it can't be put there for a string of shows instead of once every ten years. One could make an argument fro anything from DTL thru DWM apart from the obvious handful of hits. I'd be lickin' my chops for anything more than LTMDTT from the latter of course. The snippets are a nice way to at least acknowledge some of these songs are there. I just wish they'd do some club or smaller shows where they didn't have to be afraid of playing some of the good shit in full. For the record "Spaced" is one of my very favorite songs Aerosmith has done so eerie, morose and haunting it had me at the first listen years ago and that hasn't changed at all over the years.

I Wanna Know Why was a setlist staple at one point, and always seemed like a good 'rotating slot' contender to me, but it's been buried since 1980.

Love Spaced... Such a cool vibe.. I think it is a bit over shadowed because the rest of the album is so great but it is still awesome.
