Hello,
Will be attending a Vegas concert soon and am not sure where to get tested. I have heard mixed messages that there are testing sites available onsite and at a local Walgreens and/or CVS, and have heard varied accounts of prices ranging from $25 to $125... Does anyone who has recently attended have better insight? I am especially concerned about onsite testing - how much it is and how long the wait may be... Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

I had the same question when someone had a spare onstage ticket for that night's show.
There is onsite testing for $25 (or was it $30?) at the opposite end of the casino floor from the venue entrance.

At least Nevada elected a Republican governor, so that requirement will be going away soon.

Whenever I see a dumb comment here I don't even have to look to see who made it.
If the band doesn't want to be in close proximity to possibly infected fans they can simply do away with the onstage seating. If the tickets were already purchased and there is nowhere to reseat them, then they can also cancel the tickets and refund the money, other sunk costs be damned.

I had covid back in July. It lasted 2 days and was no worse than a cold. I had a cold that lasted a month that I just got over. It was a lot worse than covid. My mom who is around the same age as the band members and has kidney disease, had covid for a couple weeks and the worst she got was laryngitis. She also had a worse time with the cold that I got. So you can test for covid all you want, the bottom line is there are worse things than covid out there, and none of them are deadly except for a very few people. Getting sick and being around sick people is how you keep your immune system working. The reason why flu season and respiratory infections are so bad now is because for 3 years people have been wearing masks and people’s immune systems are weak. Now all these criminal doctors and politicians are finally admitting that masks, vaccines, and lock downs didn’t work and they want “immunity” and “forgiveness” for what they did to everyone. Bullshit, I will never forgive any of them. They did more damage to both kids and adults than the virus would have done if they just had let it take it’s course.

Talk about selection bias...

No one is asking for masks and vaccines. A test, to make sure perhaps a 75 year old cancer survivor onstage isn't infected. Or it derails a few shows, costing the hotel, the band and fans millions. Like I said, if the testing requirement is deemed illegal, then those fans will simply find themselves without tickets.
Yeah I had it. Cold for a week but feeling a little weirder inside. Mom had it. A bit sicker. Oddly enough people in our houses never got it at all. My girlfriend, prior to meeting her, said she nearly died. Couldn't breathe, turning blue, ended up in hospital. She got it again but much milder. That was why I bounced over to Bangor from NYC instead of going home.
A friend about my age however, sadly a total Trumptard and antivaxxer died. Not sure what scared him so much that he would rather risk his life and lose the bet but that's what happened. Extremely talented local musician too. Then there is Paul Stanley's guitar tech who caught it on tour (also apparently a Trumptard with a fake vax card) who was just dumped in a hotel room on tour where he was later found dead.
And count yourself lucky as I hear the morbidly obese are at much greater risk.

A test, to make sure perhaps a 75 year old cancer survivor onstage isn't infected. Or it derails a few shows, costing the hotel, the band and fans millions. This. I've lost more than half of the money I made this year due to cancellations and postponements. Concerts rarely ever happen anywhere near me. I'm not swimming in money, so I either book non-refundable travel and accommodation or I can't afford the trip at all. So then it becomes a choice between taking the chance and spending the money on a concert trip that may not happen (oh, yeah, I'm typing this from home, when I should have been in Stockholm this weekend... if Kreator hadn't postponed their tour yet again with just days before it was due to start) or just letting tickets I bought back in 2019 and cannot return go to waste. I'm sure Aerosmith are going to be fine financially. But a lot of smaller bands have gone through Hell just to make tours happen. A lot of fans as well, just so they can still afford what they signed up for years ago when things were looking different money-wise. Some bands have managed to avoid cancelling shows in spite of members catching covid - I believe it was Lamb of God who said after their tour they decided that as long as they're not on the brink of collapsing on stage, they're going to keep their mouths shut about it, tough it out and still play the shows because there was just too much at stake. I'm not even a fan of their music in particular, but as a music fan in general, I appreciate it. Other bands haven't been so lucky - see the Whitesnake fiasco, where they cancelled a show, then two, then three, then the rest of the tour, then the next tour as well because Coverdale's state wasn't improving. At least for that ticket I was able to get a refund, although minus taxes. You can't enjoy a concert that doesn't happen. I'd very much rather see precautions are taken, especially when band members are past a certain age, so shows don't get postponed or cancelled altogether. Which I've seen happen with a lot of other bands this year. A lot of fans can't afford to keep on booking trips and taking time off work if concerts get postponed. The Kreator concerts in the Nordic countries that I was supposed to see this weekend and at the start of next week are now scheduled to happen in February... but I won't be there. After over three years of hanging on to the tickets, I've requested refunds because I can't afford to pay for a trip in some damn expensive cities a second time in the space of three months. I worked my butt off for this once in a lifetime, but I guess it won't happen in this life. Maybe next life... a cat would say. Too bad I'm not a cat.

The only tard is you. Has nothing to do with Trump. Trump got the shot and told everyone to get it. The unvaxxed aren’t the ones dying right now. Young healthy vaxxed are dying by the thousands.
