You did kinda disappear for a second, but we all do that from time to time. Good to have you back.

predicting setlist back in the ssddle draw the line crying rack doll elevator one way street chip away the stone stop messin around seasons of whitford brad solo permanent vacation no surprise whatever it takes ---------------- toys in the attic full circle walk this way Predicting? More like daydreaming Man, that's a killer list. Never gonna happen though It doesn't feel that much in the "no way, not a chance!" area for me. But yes, I'd be very happy with this set too. Permanent Vacation, No Surprize and Full Circle would be fresh additions that they haven't played in over 20 years, but still nowhere near their most obscure songs. Chip Away the Stone and One Way Street are those gems that sometimes still make their way into the set (though somehow they've always avoided the shows I was at ), so definitely not impossible. If I recall correctly, both got occasionally played in Vegas. Always up for getting Seasons, Toys, DTL live again. That's already half the set. Then another third of the set is songs that may have been overplayed, but I still really enjoy. I'd definitely put up with Cryin' and the likes for almost all the rest of the set...

It's almost delusional to think though that their supposed final tour ever would not feature Dream On. Add that to the list and this isn't a setlist I would turn down. But they have shown many times before that they are more inclined to play the hits then anything fans would want. Regardless we'll see in less then a week!

Permanent Vacation, No Surprize and Full Circle would be fresh additions that they haven't played in over 20 years, but still nowhere near their most obscure songs. Okay, I was wrong about this! They have played Full Circle twice in the past 20 years. That one time in Japan and at the Bangor show almost a year ago. Anyway... 4 days left! Then a batch of 9 shows, one every 3rd day, except for the very start, when the 2nd show is 4 days after the 1st. Then 2 weeks break. Then 21 shows over the course of 2 months, one show every 3rd day. Then 2.5 weeks break. The the 2 New Year shows. Then only 5 days later, the final 8 shows, one every 3rd day.

But yes, I'd be very happy with this set too. No each one individually, no. But when you put them all together in one setlist... Too good to be true, that's just not gonna happen. Unfortunately.

It's almost delusional to think though that their supposed final tour ever would not feature Dream On. Add that to the list and this isn't a setlist I would turn down. Dream On, Walk This Way, Sweet Emotion are IMHO 100% certain to be played. And that's fine with me. I would gladly skip most of the remaining "usual" songs (especially Come Together and the "mass public hits" like Cryin/Crazy, IDWTMAT etc) But they have shown many times before that they are more inclined to play the hits then anything fans would want. This. Regardless we'll see in less then a week! I am REALLY anxious to see how it's gonna be, to be honest... ESPECIALLY in light of the rumored European leg

I just got amazing seats for $199 each! Seriously this section was going for $500 each standard price! They just opened up more seats with a big discount. They were going fast and I lost a couple of them while trying to get them in my cart - but I did and I’m going! I almost bought behind the stage for that price 3 weeks ago!

I would gladly skip most of the remaining "usual" songs (especially Come Together and the "mass public hits" like Cryin/Crazy, IDWTMAT etc) I love their version of Come Together! It's one of the few covers I'm happy to hear live. But they've played it a lot in recent years, so I don't mind if the skip it this tour/ Skipping all three Cryin', Crazy and IDWTMAT seems unlikely, though they did do it for the 2012 US tour. The setlists and the shows and the band too... they all looked so fresh on that tour! I think it's why I'm most grateful MFAD happened. It felt like it lit some kind of fire in them, even if only for a while. I am REALLY anxious to see how it's gonna be, to be honest... ESPECIALLY in light of the rumored European leg Same. I'm already trying to figure out how I can make it work, how many shows could I see if ticket prices aren't too kookoo? I can't afford festivals or shows in the UK... I may not be able to afford Scandinavia either. But maybe some of the rest of the shows? Even if hotels everywhere got so much more expensive lately. With shows 3 days apart, that would make hotel nights add up fast so hopefully the other shows are in big cities with night transportation. Then I could try make it work if I only book a hotel for the nights before the shows, and then spend the other two nights in between on night buses. Night 1 - hotel before show #1 Day 1 - show #1 Night 2 - night bus through the city after the show Day 2 - break Night 3 - long distance night bus/ train to the next city Day 3 - break? Night 4 - hotel before show #2 Day 4 - show #2 Night 5 - night bus through the city after the show Something like this... Now 4 days in between would complicate things. Earlier this year, I did 2 consecutive nights on night trains, 1 hotel night, 1 night on a night bus, 1 hotel night, 2 consecutive nights on night buses/ trains in a week. But I've never tried 3 consecutive nights without an actual bed.

Skipping all three Cryin', Crazy and IDWTMAT seems unlikely, though they did do it for the 2012 US tour. I hope for the second part of what you said, but prepare for the first. I think it's why I'm most grateful MFAD happened. It felt like it lit some kind of fire in them, even if only for a while. True, true... although the album itself was quite nice too. I am actually going to listen to it. RIGHT NOW! I am REALLY anxious to see how it's gonna be, to be honest... ESPECIALLY in light of the rumored European leg Same. I am afraid the prices will be kookoo as fuck Are you going to go for the pit tickets as per usual?

I am going to visit my Buddy in NC in a few weeks an dteh plan is to score some tickets. Prices have been dropping but they are still just above $500 for a decent LOGE seat. The show is still a little over 3 weeks away though.

As I always say: keep your hopes high and your expectations low... I think it's why I'm most grateful MFAD happened. It felt like it lit some kind of fire in them, even if only for a while. True, true... although the album itself was quite nice too. I am actually going to listen to it. RIGHT NOW! Not one of my top albums, but not at the bottom either. There's enough stuff on it I like. Should give it another listen too. I am afraid the prices will be kookoo as fuck Are you going to go for the pit tickets as per usual? At this point, I'll take the prices for the 2020 tour. And unless we count the early entry supplement to the Vampires ticket price this year, that's still the most I ever paid for a single show ticket. Hopefully no early entry madness. Or at least not like it was for the Vampires show in Bucharest. But some of the prices I've seen for a single pit ticket when the Peace Out tickets first went on sale were ten times as much. That's a whole new level of kookoo. And yes, of course I want to be in front. Might as well just stay at home and just watch the YouTube recordings otherwise. Which I'll still feel the need to do it afterwards, but that's another story. To this day, I still haven't been able to figure out what it was that Steven did that prompted Joe to tell him "I'm watching you!" during the Seasons & Hangman part of the show in Berlin. And I've probably watched that recording three hundred times.

The show is still a little over 3 weeks away though. I got Philly tickets. I’ve been watching tickets get released and go quickly for weeks - nothing in my price range looked good so I just told myself to wait. The other day I was pretty sure I wasn’t going, honestly. Last night while checking, a handful of lower level seats became available at $199! The seats were in multiple sections, some right in front, some towards the back - but all the same price. I got 2nd section from the stage, 4th row from floor! They all went extremely fast. Where they came from and why they weren’t $500 each I don’t know but I am thankful I caught them.

Single seats in the front floor of UBS on 9/9 that got left behind from other Platinum purchases are being repriced as standard...at $247. A couple of good ones right now in 6th row Brad side, and 20th row dead center(which is 5 rows from the extended stage front). As platinum sells a few more of these may become available, but it looks like Platinum prices came down as well and there really aren't too many left at this point.

I hope for the second part of what you said, but prepare for the first. As I always say: keep your hopes high and your expectations low... Exactly... this way you will be disappointed but not surprised True, true... although the album itself was quite nice too. I am actually going to listen to it. RIGHT NOW! Not one of my top albums, but not at the bottom either. There's enough stuff on it I like. Should give it another listen too. Same - definitely not even close to the top, but I agree with you 100%: there's enough stuff on it I like. Street Jesus is a gem, though. They should play it on this tour. I am afraid the prices for 2024 will be double what they were in 2020. But the prices they were asking when tickets went on sale are overly inflated and are dropping rapidly as the dates/days draw near. I wonder if it will be the same in Europe or is that more typical for US. I am afraid the prices will be kookoo as fuck Are you going to go for the pit tickets as per usual? And yes, of course I want to be in front. Might as well just stay at home and just watch the YouTube recordings otherwise. That's my girl!
