We've actually talked about this on AF1, and of course everyone would love to do it. It would be a buttload of money though.

That's awesome that Foo Fighters are doing that though.

How much was needed for FF? $70k ... And they were able to get businesses to contribute. FF are doing this for a city that they never tour in. If somehow AF2 could be a starting point, I think a venue in Mass/New Hampshire could be a starting point.

The Good News: We know that they would do it for the right price, since they have done private shows for corporations in the not so distant past.
The Bad News: I'm guessing they would want at least 1,000,000 though. That means if every member on this board was willing and able, it would come to $6452 each. A bit rich for my blood. Even if they were generous and did it for $500,000 it would still be $3226 each.
The impossible news: If we could convince them to work for Foo Fighters pay, we could get them for 'only' $451 each.
The optimist news: If we could gather only 4000 people somehow, which would still be a fairly small crowd/venue, the tickets would be $250 each.

Do we know a venue that we could work with in N.H. or Mass? I am willing to work with venues in NY; however, we might have a better shot with local business contributions in N.H. or Mass.

Nop Nope Nope. We don't have enough money amongst us, and the band would have to rehearse.
Now that my flippant side is out--this really would be awesome, but realistically....?
