Hey guys and gals, I appreciate you all giving this forum a chance. Its been fun already, and its great to see all the familiar and new 'faces' here.
A few members have mentioned that the forum name may lead to copyright issues though, and I agree. I have found that there is a way to change the name without losing the current threads or the work that I've done so far, so I am planning to do that.
And this is where YOU come in. Let's see if we can collectively come up with a new name that doesn't run the risk of infringement issues.
So, have at it, and be creative, but also be sure it is relevant to Aerosmith, which only makes sense. For example, I don't think there would be any issues with something like 'aeroforum.com', other than being very bland, of course...
Thanks! -Trey

I say let it stay until or if you're asked to change it. JMO.

Yeah, my concern is that the member count is rapidly climbing, and I'd hate for people to get lost if I have to change it way down the road somewhere.

I did kind of wonder about the name (more so the banner script)
My first thought trying to keep with the theme...
AERO FAN FORCED FORUMS
and tongue in cheek
AERO FANATICS FORUM

Kinda like the AeroHead. Maybe not all one word though. Meaning AeroHead Forums, instead of AeroHeadsForum

Good point. It would actually be something like Aerohead Forums. I'm just a computer geek, so I was listing it the way you would have to type the URL, i.e.: aeroheadforums.freeforums.net

Or.... how about copyrighting Aeroforce 2 with a little script alteration??? Do you guys have some sort of business/copywrite/trademark/logo site you can go check on that, that is world wide? We had an aussie/kiwi one that got totally screwed twice within a few years as it wasn't a world one. We lost Planet Hollywood for a bit and have definitely lost Ugh/Ugg boots. I wouldn't be surprised if some enterprise of Aerosmith or some former manager actually owns the words Aeroforce regardless of what number you put after it, but it might be worth checking, they may have only registered the script or logo etc and I have no idea how to look that up US wise. The aussie one now tells you only if you pay to register here if that name etc is being used in another country.

What about just the Aeroforce without any type of number? Also in any logo or script?
