Not a psycho-fan of this band, but they definitely got what it takes and are really nice to watch live, so I might actually see this movie... Long live rock 'n' roll!

Which is weird since Aerosmith is my favorite band and I also love Alice Cooper.. It is probably mostly due to he Johnny Depp effect. That guy just annoys the shit out of me. I also thought the covers I heard on their first album were pretty generic sounding.. Not to mention very generic covers themselves. I have seen Aerosmith around thirty times and Alice 10-15 times but these guys haven't been on my radar for some reason.. They did put out an original song a few years back that I remember liking. Maybe I will check out some more.

You would think with my username I'd be a huge fan of the vampires. But yeah, they haven't caught my attention at all sadly.

Same, not super excited about this, but cool that there will be some release, they are managing their activity way better than Aerosmith... short lived band with 2 albums, multiple tours, a bluray and now a documentary... wish our band's management did the same... theres a clip of Joe from this interview where he talks about seeing a UFO haha not a clue what that was about

Just watched the trailer... so many clips from the 100 club show with Johnny playing with Alice... all from the wrong side, i.e. not where I was stood 😉

Same here, also not a fan. It just doesn't appeal to me, I recognise Alice Cooper is a legend, but I never really got into his stuff, also not a fan of Johnny Depp. But if they can manage to make a documentary, how come Aerosmith can't, with 50+ years of stories?

I've been digging the Vampires. I don't have an issue with Johnny Depp, and kinda like the dynamic between Joe and Alice. Everything I've ever heard from them be it cover or original has been enjoyable. Plus, I never will be upset about new material from Joe Perry. So, I'll check this out.

I think this video is to go together with the reissue of RISE CD If I am correct, the Reissue is to happen in May the new cover of the album will be black and white I've seen preorders pop up all over there place see here allegro.pl/oferta/hollywood-vampires-rise-cd-15530513301anyhow, I will stand opposed to most of you guys when it comes to H Vamps, as I thing it's one of the best things that happened to me musically in the last 10 years. I am a massive Guns N Roses fan and still I value Vampires over the GNR reunion, easily. They wipe the floor with any other band I know, except Aerosmith, in my book. And I find it so surprizing because I hated them at first. When the project was announced in 2012 I thought I'd puke. Being a GNR fan you were surrounded by all these stupid cover bands, ex band members playing in cover bands, it seemed like in 2012 everybody was in at least one. Axl had his own cover version of GNR, Slash went solo and back then his setlist was just GNR material, Steven Adler the drummer was in Adler's Appetite and they played Appetite For Destruction Matt Sorum, the 2nd drummer, was in Rock N Roll All-Stars, Camp Freddy and Kings of Chaos - so that's 3 for ya and in general, you'd get 4 cover bands with almost identical lineup - camp freddy, vampires, kings of chaos, rnr all stars all had Duff, Matt, Slash in them. Only later on Vampires evolved, composed original material and even tho the backbone of the band is my parents' age, they fukkin rule, kick ass, put on a spectacular show, spare no expenses and deliver a huge arena rock feast! goddamn they put other bands to shame
