What's up Aero fans? as a secound generation Aero Fan and at the age of 8 years old, I personally remember this VMA performance. I remember how on fire the band was, and how extremlly active ST was on stage. So on a day off I took a trip down memory lane, and decided to share the moment I became a true Aero head. Would love your opinion on this performance.

Despite all the piped in vocals, a pretty cool performance for sure.

I do remember watching it. I also watched the VMAs when they were big winners in '93 and '94. In fact, in my book of ticket stubs I also have this clipping.

I remember watching, back when I still had cable and MTV was still (mostly) music. It was always exciting to see Aerosmith on TV. And I confess, I have always liked this song, both the album cut and live. Thanks for posting.

I saw this when it aired and I was thrilled. Then when they went off stage I don't know if I was listening to something else, or if the.......I don't know, my memory of this was someone said Steven Tyler had become a caricature of himself. Not sure what that meant. I love the award show videos but this one never comes up in search. Thanks adamsapple.

Don't remember the grammy show. But remember the the VMA performance with the chandelier swinging.

Yeah, I watched that SNL performance as well. So cool to see Aerosmith on TV. My favorite SNL appearance was when they played Big 10 Inch. It was so unexpected, and Steven was really into it.

As I said I remember someone on TV or radio calling out ST's stage performance and I didn't get why they found it objectionable.

Think it was around 1990. I seem to recall seeing some Aero parts from that show late one night while surfing Aero vids on YouTube. The link below is to a compilation DVD that has the SNL Monkey performance. I have that 2-dvd set. Has a lot of rare Aero vids. www.maximumsound.org/Aerosmith-TV-media-compilation-1974-04-2DVD-set_p_142.html

And since when has MTV allowed clips to stay up on youtube? They used to rip them down faster than they could be put up. I lost 2 youtube accounts on account of their fuckery. Grrr!
