Darkness, Darkness, hungry to the bone...
Damn I love this song and it was great to hear the snippet with Dream On the other night. Wish they would play it more often.

This could have been a big hit back then if they would have promoted it properly.

Very true. The band was still in a rough place though. Great tune none the less

Too bad he didn't take 2 minutes to learn the 2 lines he sang, but still very cool that he even remembers this great song.

Love the song. It's one of my favourite ballads and I secretly fantasize something falls on Steven's head and he suddenly decides to make this a regular instead of IDWMAT... Too bad he didn't take 2 minutes to learn the 2 lines he sang, but still very cool that he even remembers this great song. He should do the wet cat challenge. Make an effort to remember the damn lyrics or get slapped with a wet cat.

Never understood why this song didn't make the vinyl back when Mirrors was first released. Another tune that demonstrates you can have a more mid-tempo song that does drag and has bite.

Too bad he didn't take 2 minutes to learn the 2 lines he sang, but still very cool that he even remembers this great song. My thoughts also. For that short snippet, it's shameful (or at least very lazy) he wouldn't at least take 30 seconds to relearn those 2-3 lines. Hell, it took me less than 10 seconds to remember them and (unlike him) I didn't even write the damn song.

It's hard to reconcile how ST is supposedly a perfectionist, taskmaster and hard to work with in the studio with the fact that he goes out live and doesn't care enough to learn two lines of a song that he wrote before. Ironic?
