Hypothetically speaking... If Joe, Brad, Tom, and Joey made a record without Steven do you think it would work? No guest singers, just them. I love Steven but I would love to have an hour of them just jamming. There has been a lot of great rock music without lyrics. I would love to hear them try to pull it off.

Hell yeah, I'd buy it!
Probably not what you had in mind, but this was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this:

Probably only the hardcore folks would buy it, as the "general public" generally want music with vocals and lyrics.
However, I think they should definitely do this at some point. I've long fantasized about removing Steven Tyler from an Aerosmith album-making effort. Honestly, I blame Steven Tyler for a huge amount of the power-ballad-y suckiness with Aerosmith for the past couple of decades.
I wouldn't even mind it if Steven Tyler sat on the sidelines throughout the songwriting and record-making process and then just came in to do vocals on songs that had already been written by the other four guys. Steven Tyler's voice is just so totally "right " for Aerosmith. I can't say the same for his musical preferences and creative ideas.

not a whole album, it would be a waste of time, energy and music...but a couple of instrumentals instead of useless intros/outrous would be so cool

NO GUEST SINGERS! Just the four of them. Instrumental (no Joe singing for the love of God)
