Amazing show as usual, Steven never misses a single note, he looks and sound incredible, show after show. Joey was on fire, I wasn't expecting a drum solo, it's always great seeing joey and steven playing together! The setlist was good, I always enjoy jaded live, so much better than the studio version. The only 2 "weak" points to me were Rag Doll and Come Together but they were still enjoyable moments. The first 3 songs are an usual opening, they didn't impress me because I knew they were coming. Cryin' seemed to have a great crowd response, I think it sounds always so intense and emotional, I really like it. Edge was amazing, how many lead singers share their mic with the drummer in this way?? I got teary eyed. K&Q is fucking epic, I cried again, Steven just owns his voice, he can do whatever he likes, and when you think he's falling, he can twist it and play with it adding new details to the performance, simply amazing. Toys is always full of energy! Messin Around sounds 1000 times better than Freedom Fighter, Steven just kills it on the harmonica and I go crazy for this guitars explosion. Mama Kin was another emotional moment, that jam was so tight and cool! Everyone played great, it seems that ladies were the craziest fans in the crowd so no surpise that they like to play jaded, idwtmat (both were great imo) and stuff like that as they filled the majority of the first seats while the suppoused "die hards/hardcore fans" were maybe too busy drinking beer, recording with their phones or taking a piss break -.- The crowd was good, not exceptional but after 3-4 songs people just warmed up but I can see that the whole band works the crowd more in other places, maybe because they see crazier fans so they like to stay at the end of the catwalk a bit more (tonight brad and tom barely had their moments under the spotlight). I still think that SE is a terrible closer but I'm glad I was able to HEAR a live Aerosmith concert since when you're there, the sound quality isn't always that good, fuck...they play even better than I though! I was teary eyed for most of the concert, so moving and emotional...Aerosmith is the best rock band in the whole world, not just America, period.

That was a nice little treat for a Tuesday night. I was skeptical about getting a high quality stream for free considering how reluctant they've been to release a full show on video. I streamed it onto my new 55 inch HDTV and it looked every bit as good as a satellite or cable feed. An uncensored, uninterrupted, commercial free broadcast of that quality far exceeded my expectations.
The setlist is what it is, but I still enjoyed the entire show, especially after not making the Mansfield show this summer. I was impressed enough with everything else. The band looked and sounded great and still seem to really enjoy performing. Hopefully I can find a good recording of this show.

I thought it was a fun show, but sounds like you were the one with sweet emotions and were cryin, maybe you should go back to your mama kin or just stop messin around? Either way I am glad we could all come together to watch this train.

Finally settled back at my hotel room. What a show!!! I was only 5 seats away from the catwalk, 12 rows away from the main stage, on Brad's side. I think I made eye contact with all of them! I've seen them 11 times and these are by far the best seats I've ever had and this is by far the best show I've seen them do. Was it worth it to drive 5 hours?? Abso-fuckin'-lutely. If for "Kings and Queens" alone. And seeing Aerosmith jam with Slash on "Mama Kin"?? OMG...amazing!! Sure, I wish they would've kept Thighs & Monkey in, done Dude instead of Come Together, Saddle instead of Train, SOSAD instead of Jaded. But... setlists, shmetlists. Who fuckin' cares when they play as tight as they played tonight. This band is like a bottle of fine wine that only gets better with time. I know it's cliche, but it's so fucking true. I'm so glad I went. What an unbelievable time and a great way to cap off my concert season. And oh yeah...Slash was great too!

Still one of the weaker setlists of the tour but we have seen worse. There would be alot of momentum killers for my taste but still decent. Setlist are everything to me.. If a song sucks it sucks no matter how tight they are in my opinion. I forgot this was being broadcast.. I hope it was recorded because I really want to see a pro shot Kings And Queens and Mama Kin.. How much of Home Tonight did he play? Is he getting better at remembering the words?

He always plays just a little snppet of Home Tonight. I think the setlist works quite well, rag doll after the drum solo makes much more sense than before but it was still the weakest moment with come together for me. I would change the 3 opening sons, well maybe I'll leave train which is killer but ETR and Elevator kinda bore me a bit now but I bet that most of the fans still enjoy them.

I still think that SE is a terrible closer Say what? SE is a terrible closer? I guess at this point you could say it's a predictable closer, but by no means terrible. Of all the songs I've seen them close with (SE, Train, WTW), I'd say it works the best.

What an incredible live stream! It felt just like I was at the show. Even though the set was mediocre compared to other setlists this tour, the band KILLED it and they really are tighter than ever.

Of all the songs I've seen them close with (SE, Train, WTW), I'd say it works the best. I think SE suits better between the middle and the end of the main set when the climax is at its peak. It's too slow to close the show, on my first show they closed with toys in the attic right after wtw...epic and so full of energy, SE yes it's pedictable but I also think it doesn't punch you in the face like other faster songs so I'd pick up different songs to close the encore. Maybe SE could turn to be a good opener instead.

Now THAT would be horrible. The only good part would be the bass line playing with the lights down before the curtain drops, because it could build up anticipation. But once the song starts it is way too slow to be a good opener.
For a closer, it is ok, but a bit predictable. I'd take it over Train though for the closer.

I think Sweet Emotion would fit anywhere in the set. I could even see it as an opener..
The encores are definately way too predictable.. I think it would be awesome if the opening encore song was a rotating slot of gems...
