Aerosmith's Joe Perry to visit Rock Hall for book signing in OctoberSeptember 18, 2014 at 9:26 AM Aerosmith's Joe Perry. "I've always known on some level that I'd be able to go out and have a life away from Aerosmith," says guitarist Joe Perry. His new solo album, "Have Guitar, Will Travel," finds him stretching out musically and lyrically. CLEVELAND, Ohio – Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry will visit the Rock Hall on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from noon to 2 p.m. Perry will be on hand to sign copies of his new book, "Rocks: My Life in and out of Aerosmith," which will be released on Oct. 7. It will mark Perry's second official trip to the Rock Hall this year. He appeared at the inaugural AP Music Awards in July to present Slash with a lifetime achievement award. Perry's book covers everything from his upbringing in Massachusetts to meeting Steven Tyler to the ups and downs of one of the biggest rock bands of all time. As many rock fans will recall, Tyler released his own memoir, "Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?," back in 2011. Perry's "My Life in and out of Aerosmith" probably doesn't have as many tales of sex and drugs, but the book has already received praise from the likes of Slash and Jimmy Page. The Rock Hall book signing is free and open to the public. Perry's book will be available for purchase in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum store. No other items will be allowed for autographs. However, photos are allowed. www.cleveland.com/music/index.ssf/2014/09/aerosmiths_joe_perry_to_visit.html

Btw, are any other places he's going to allowing more than just the book for signing ? My guess is no.
