^ I'm familiar with her work but hadn't seen those yet. I did watch both of them all the way through and it was interesting to see a non-Aerosmith fan's thoughts on the old vs 2nd gen Aerosmith. She liked them both, but in very different ways.
For Dream On, she had nothing but flattering things to say about the quality of the song structure, the way it was crafted, the way the melodies progressed and built layer upon layer from one verse to the next, the insightful lyrics, etc.
For Cryin', she said it was a fun song, but very commercial sounding and "nothing very deep". She also said she would enjoy listening to it again, and maybe once again, but then would need a very long break before ever hearing it again.
Basically, she was a vote for old vs new Aerosmith.
