I know I heard this years before I discovered Amorphis and knew it was them.
Step aside from the way of a better man than you

The new Magnum album that came out today. Fitting cover art.
"no one will come when you call"
Tony Clarkin died last Sunday, less than a week before the album came out, which I find really sad. And it means the one time I saw them remains their very last show ever in the EU.

solo record by Ile Kallio and his brother Pera Kallio who sings on this album ( Dogfood ) . They called themself The Dogs and gave out two Eeeeeeexcellent records in their short period. It was meant they would become a world touring stadiumband. The music is fantastic. rocknroll . the album is from 77. it still today stands really good. timesless rocknroll. Ile Kallio is imo the best guitarist in his mainband back then, the mighty ultralegendary >Hurriganes< . Steven Tyler mentioned once when in Finland that Hurriganes Is the ultimate Rocknrollband. Enjoy !!!

Been digging the Traveling Wilburys the past few weeks. Mainly because of this one. Written by Bob Dylan and Tom Petty called Tweeter and the Monkey Man. Also I'm pretty sure the Hollywood Vampires could make an incredible cover of this.

Ok, look, I know I am in the major minority here. This is an Aerosmith fan site, meaning that the fans that come here typically avoid this music listed below like its the plague. For proof just look at the views on any post that Darryl puts up of Taylor Swift or Carrie Underwood compared to others.
This was cool though. I saw Madonna in January in Philadelphia. It was a unique show. Given her age she isn't dancing like she always did so she was much more focused on her vocals (which still weren't anything to write home about if we are being honest). But this was unique and memorable. Near the end of the show a curtain descends and a dancer who is clearly not Madonna but portraying a younger Madonna has a dance off with a Michael Jackson impersonator to a mash up of Billie Jean and Like a Virgin. They go together surprisingly well and it was a historic thing to see. Regardless of feelings we can all agree that those two names dominated pop in their prime, no one could touch either. Seeing one pay tribute to the other that is now long gone was cool.

From their experimental era, a song that certainly isn't about puppies or kittens
