So with most of the bands comments about no new album and some hints by band members they might tour again next year, what are your thoughts? Of course I would luv it..mostly because I thought the setlists were greatly improved on this tour and thought they sounded great (still amazes me after all these years). Over touring is one thing they should consider, but im sure they want to keep it rolling after excellent reviews after most if not all shows...never mind the "we ain't gettin any younger" thing. I hope the band saw the solid feedback from audiences with songs like kings and queens and rats and continue in that direction. If they do tour, they really need to look at reducing ticket prices or play smaller venues as sold out venues were not happening. I hope to see the boys pull this off yet again in 2015. P.S. .. practice some long lost classics so they are ready to go on the next tour!

I think its a safe bet. They tour nearly every year, and like you said, the chances are slowly wearing thin.

I wish they would bust out a hometown NYE show... Who knows what is going to happen after Joe's book comes out.

I could see them doing Latin America and Japan next year and MAYBE sprinkle in a few U.S. dates. Maybe a few corporate gigs and special shows and 8-10 regular shows a la 2007. I don't know if they can do another 20 U.S. dates again like last year without new material to support at current ticket prices. They might be able to get away with it by doing a co-headlining tour with a major act like Def Leppard, but I don't think any of us really want that anyways, since it will mean them doing the same 14 songs we always get and that's it.

Should be interesting to see what comes out of 2015 in the world of Aerosmith. Joe, said that the managers are looking over a few touring options and that is about it. Im assuming if they do tour it will be overseas because they did the US this summer, but you never know.

I wish they would bust out a hometown NYE show... Who knows what is going to happen after Joe's book comes out. That would be kick-ass. It would be cool if they did it at the Orpheum and played the exact setlist they did back in 84-85.

Hoping for a US Tour in 2015. This past tour was great. The challenge will be for them to IMPROVE on the setlist for upcoming tours.

I think they should mainly stick to arena's like they did on the 2012 leg. They're usually in big cities with multiple transportation options. They easily sold out 2 shows at the Boston Garden that year, while this year they struggled to sell tickets for a single show in Mansfield.
Outdoor venues like that are great for younger crowds that want to tailgate all day, but it's such a hassle getting in and out. Obviously all markets are different, but I think in general the NHL/NBA arena's have the best access.

Sounds like they need to rest for a while but I would love to see them again as long as they have the same energy.

If by some miracle Steven does pull his finger out and do a solo album then I think he will promote it rather than go on the road with Aerosmith. And as Tomass said "who knows what will happen when Joes book comes out".
