Watch Aerosmith’s Full Woodstock ’94 ConcertThe performance almost didn't happen because of backstage tension November 20, 2014 11:38 AM By Matt Dolloff (@mattdolloff) Aerosmith have released their full two-hour set from Woodstock ’94 on YouTube, as part of the website’s ongoing Music Vault project. Watch the full rain-drenched concert in the video above. According to the Boston Globe, the performance almost didn’t take place after backstage drama between the band and festival nearly derailed the concert before it even started. Aerosmith’s manager Tim Collins called Woodstock promoter John Scher a “liar” over allegedly breaking promises to the band concerning their stage setup. Aerosmith felt Woodstock management had given in to Metallica‘s demands for special effects, while not doing the same to accommodate them. This disagreement escalated to fisticuffs between Collins and Scher, who Aerosmith bodyguards had to break up. Despite the backstage brawling, the show still went on. Kicking off at 1:45 a.m. and enduring torrential downpours, the set was described in a review by the Globe as “a metallic meltdown of a set” and “the best” performance of that day, which also included performances by Joe Cocker, Nine Inch Nails; Crosby, Stills, & Nash; and the aforementioned Metallica. The set is also notable for including the band’s cover of the Beatles’ “Come Together”, which today is a setlist staple but at the time was considered “a song they don’t usually play anymore”. Boasting sharper audio and video than existing bootlegs – and stripping away the voice-overs, title overlays and other elements of Woodstock’s TV broadcast – this video stands as the definitive version of the band’s performance at the iconic festival. Setlist: “Eat The Rich” “Toys In The Attic” “Fever” “Draw the Line” / “F.I.N.E.” “Rag Doll” “Cryin’” “Crazy” “Monkey on My Back” “Mama Kin” “Boogie Man” / “Shut Up and Dance” “Stop Messin’ Around” “Walk On Down” “Janie’s Got a Gun” “Love in an Elevator’ “Dude (Looks Like a Lady)” “Sweet Emotion” Encore: “Come Together” “Dream On” “Livin’ on the Edge” “Mother Popcorn” / “Walk This Way” wzlx.cbslocal.com/2014/11/20/aerosmith-woodstock-94-full-concert-video/

This has my all time favorite version of DTL/FINE. I remember watching the original concert and being blown away watching them play this in the rain.

But, but, but...
On the same YouTube channel, there's this!
I have it on DVD, but the quality is, well, crap! It's the first time I come across a better version.

Funny they say that about Come Together. You can tell at the time they were not playing it often because they completely screwed up the intro. Still a really cool version of the song, though.

As much as rag on GAG, the band sounded so good on this tour. I have a VHS of the Rio show which sounds awesome. I was at that 79 show. You can see it was falling apart. Still, Bone to Bone, for all its incomplete lyrics, sounded great.

They need to get more 70s video stuff out.
80s and 90s era boots have been in circulation for the last 20 years. There aren't many people who have not seen this footage. I don't understand the purpose of releasing this show.
