Now THIS is a good cover! Better than the original? I'm sure I'll get backs up now that I said that, but this version has the singer that a song like this needs.

That is a great cover. I had never even thought of that song being in the style of Ronnie James Dio until aerostooge mentioned it a few weeks back. I can really hear it in that cover. It sounds like it could be right off one of those first couple Rainbow albums. |

That is a great cover. I had never even thought of that song being in the style of Ronnie James Dio until aerostooge mentioned it a few weeks back. I can really hear it in that cover. It sounds like it could be right off one of those first couple Rainbow albums. Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if Brad was listening to them early Rainbow albums around that point. It's more the dynamics and structure of K&Q that I've always associated with early Rainbow. And Tyler's lyrics, of course. |

Pearl Jam covering Draw the Line. At Fenway. With Tom Hamilton I am normally not a big fan of covers, but this one is pretty nice! Probably in good part due to the fact that song is pure awesomeness  Nice find. |

Apparently Pearl Jam does not want AF2 to view their video. Youtube pointing fingers now. YouTube offers various controls for videos you own the copyright for. Among them, hidden behind a "Show More", there's an "Allow embedding" checkbox. If it's unchecked, you get this message when you try to embed a video (something that happens automatically when posting a YouTube link here). |
