That's a solid cover with a entertaining video. But 50 cents for a cold can of Coca Cola, you'd have trouble finding it that cheap back in 93. Seeing Livin' on the Edge in a different light makes me appreciate how great a song it really is. Like all hits, it loses some luster after hearing it a thousand times, but it is such a well composed song. One of my favorites for sure.

Alright, I finished a new one... Just Push Play, we used to play it in school and bars 2001-2003 haha idk what we were thinking!
Going back into the song at a faster tempo, the main riff proved particularly challenging to play, as it's in drop D tuning and requires tight 16th-note precision! I ended up just looping a few sections, and I think think it sounds off at times. Then how high are Stevens vocals in the pre-chorus!?!?! fuck!
A loop-heavy rock party song from its inception, I think just now I got to think about the lyrics, seems that Just Push Play talks about a raunchy guy eagerly pursuing sex after six years of abstinence, with sections spoken in Jamaican patois to emphasize his excitement and readiness. While it may be one of Aerosmith's lesser-known tracks, it's one that we love to keep alive.
Not great, but good fun to revisit and record after 20 years!

The 'Dungeons and Dragons' atmosphere that I sometimes speak of is in full effect with this cover.

One more! we finished one for Pink. Revisitng this one after so many years made me realise I had been playing it wrong for the longest time haha. There's a chord they play at the end of the chorus that is something inbettern and F and a G that I had to freeze frame a video of Joe to see what he was actually playing. Also, the harmonica part might be easy to start with, but the second part if fkn hard to play! anywas, loved it. And its based in the amazing Z100 version where they open with the second part of the chorus! I hope you guys can enjoy and leave quick like to help support the channel

Aaaaaaand one more! new cover of 'Outta Your Head' – a song that’s always hit home for me since my high school band days. This time around, I wanted to blend the original energy of Aerosmith's Just Push Play era with some personal touches. This cover features looped guitars and added Joey’s snare sound from his drum loops, plus a little surprise – Steven Tyler’s vocal snippet taken from a behind-the-scenes moment during the recording of the album. It was like jamming with the man himself! (at least in my mind haha) Check it out and let me know what you think! It’s been a nostalgic ride reworking this tune with my talented friends scattered across the globe. Looking forward to hearing from fellow fans who are as crazy about this track as I am. We only have one more to finish, Crash, then the project will go on an indefinite hold. As always, if you could support the channel with a quick like or subscribe, it would be much appreciated guys

Correct me if I'm wrong here though, since it has been awhile since I've heard the original, which I do like a lot by the way. In the original, don't they do the high pitched "Ye-ah" after every "Outta your head"? That 'yeah' is my absolute favorite part of the song, and it seemed to be lacking in this cover version, so if you did reduce the number of times I'm curious why?

Hey, thanks for the kind comment. I guess this cover version is based and mixed with what we used to play back in high school days (top left cover of our vid), and those live versions usually were striped down to basics, unlike the album version which uses lots of layer vocals and guitars. Back then, I didn't do any of the "ye-he-ah" in between "outta your heads", but in this cover I tried to mixed what we did, with more of the original, so I added layer of those when I did the lead vocal recording. Still, those parts are really high and hard to sing, so thats also another reason why we probably left it out back in 2001-2002.
I know its not the most popular song of theirs, but it was something we used to do and rehearsed lots of times, so it was fun revisiting it 20 years later!
