1) Cracking my ribs in a fight with my brother as a teen when he pushed me backwards and I hit my ribs on the edge of a clothes hamper. This was the absolute worst. I couldn't even roll over in bed at night, but had to kind of slide out of bed sideways, slowly stand up, and gently get back in bed in the new position. Horrible.
2) Breaking my collarbone mountain biking. Another month of agony where I couldn't lift my arm more than an inch or two without sheer blinding pain shooting through my body.

Well, there was this gerbil and.............................HA! I went over a curb on my bike and watched my front tire roll away. Landed on my face. Assumed I was screwed.......but no scars, no broken neck. Bit of brain damage.

I fell down the stairs in January and either bruised or broke my tailbone. That sucked.

I have had alot... Crashed 4 wheeler once, broke both wrists, cracked a rib and fractured my ankle. That was a bad day.. Got sucker punched after a Sox day came two summers ago and I still don't know why. Totally blind sided and knocked me right out. I fell and smashed my head HARD on the brick sidewalk. I was told my eyes were rolling in the back of my head.. I don't remember anything and was brought to the emergency room by ambulence. I had a pretty bad concussion and had some pretty bad symptoms for like 6 months. I would fall down with virtigo in the middle of the night when going to take a piss. Probably a mistake but I went to two Aerosmith shows the following week. That was the scariest.. Most painful was definately a ruptured disc in my lower back.. Those are my top 3

I broke my nose when I was 5 years old, when my older brother bumped into me when he was playing catch with my other brother (ha, kinda like when Joe bumped Steven off the stage). My nose hit the concrete step HARD and all I remember is crying and my nose bleeding everywhere. My mom rushed me to the hospital. They wound up giving me stitches. I still have the scar to this day. I've also had sinus problems ever since.
When I was 7 years old, I was riding my bike really fast, hit a bump in the sidewalk, and lost control. My bike wound up crashing into a chain-link fence, and I flipped over the handlebars and landed on my face. I knocked out half of one of my front top adult teeth. I also broke open my gum and that required stitches. I remember my dad yelling and swearing on the phone talking to the dentist's office, and then him driving me to the hospital. They were able to put a cap on my tooth, which needed to be replaced two years later when I ripped the cap off while opening a water bottle with my teeth.

Most gruesome was impaling my foot on a steel rake.

I had a deviated septum which was blocking over 90% of my nasal cavity on one side. I had it fixed a few years ago, and what a difference!

I gotta say, I feel weird 'liking' posts about getting punched in the face and such.

I think I touched on this in a post replying to Tomass about motorbikes and my worst injuries sustained were on a peewee50 and my first motorbike with a clutch a Honda XL75. My parents thing was (within reason) you can ride that XL75 were ever you want BUT, you must ALWAYS WEAR, a helmet, shoes, jeans, and at least a T-shirt, me...yes of course I will (yes dad, no dad, 3 bags full dad and to mum..., dad said I could) My parents house was on a hill, with about 12 foot drop terraces, as you come into the driveway/garage, you need to be going slow, I wasn't, so I had duck around, but someone had watered the lawn to the side of the garage and I just skidded right over the first terrace (also, I had my towel, jeans, shoes, and shirt around my neck and my helmet over my arm) the bike landed on me, I have no idea how long I was out to it, but when I come to, I raced the bike into the garage, left my helmet and raced into the house, mum said your late, I said sorry give me 5 and i'll get you to work. I had a quick shower and still didn't feel anything, walked out, in shorts and t-shirt (I was sposed to take mum to work on that bike). Mum said what did you do to your leg, I looked down, I don't remember much after that! The exhaust landed on my calf muscle and burned right through to the bone, I spent most of 1978 on crutches or in hospital, and several operations, mostly skin grafts.

in Jr High, "borrowed" my sisters bike as mine was not in working order. My friend and I built a jump in the street. I jumped and watched the front wheel come off. Slow motion as I flew over the handle bars when the forks hit the asphalt. My friends mother thought I was unconscious, but i managed to protect my head. Road burns up my leg, side elbow and hand. Still have the scar on my hand, but the others have healed.
In high school Impaled my foot with a pitch fork. That was quite a surprise .
Fractured my toe about two months ago. Not too painful, but odd looking at my tow sticking out 90 degrees from its proper position.

The first time I broke my tailbone, I was climbing into my mom's '72 Oldsmobile and my creepy uncle was getting into the backseat right behind me. I was so freaked out by him, I jumped to the far side of the car and landed on the arm rest. The second time I broke it(because the first time was such a joy) was while sledding with my kids on a flat sled. Hit a rock sticking up out of the snow and it caught my already jacked-up tailbone. I literally saw stars. Here's a tip: when your tailbone is broken, don't sneeze.

What a difference. Born with a deviated septum, which was really bad by the time I had surgery...almost closed one side of my nose. Allergies do a number on sinuses too.....
