I'm debating going to the SNHU show.... If anyone is interested the presale code is VAMPIRES23... Tickets are wicked cheap, so I decided to go. $39.50 (not even balcony seats...)

Well, the US dates have been postponed... From the replies:Except for the hysterical girls letting out high-pitched "Jooooooooohnyyyyyyyyyy" screams so loud that I couldn't hear the band at times. Though they could try with a cardboard cutout on wheels like in Home Alone.

Doors 19:00
12 Limbs 20:00-20:45
Hollywood Vampires 21:15-...
Fuck knows when the early entry happens. Did not get an email. Also, there's no laptop or tablet on the list of banned items and they say ticket can be shown on a tablet or on a phone, so does that means I can get a bit of work done right there before the show?
Listening to Rise right now.
Edit: sorry, they've just sent an email to say they'll send an email on Wednesday with early entry info.

And... the Silver VIP package which tripled the price of the ticket and which I bought strictly for Early Entry has lost any mention of early entry (and now just contains one guitar pick, a laminate and a collectible ticket, all of which are probably 1% of what I paid for it) and gained a "*Package details are subject to change without notice", which was not in the package description when I bought it. Google Cache remembers, I have screenshots.
Look, I fucking love the music and I fucking love them live, but after this experience, this is probably going to be my last Aerosmith/ Vampires show. Because of where the prices are now and because of shit like this. I've already seen them in this life, I've had a fantastic time, but there are tens of other bands I can see and have a great time for a lot less money and without wasting time, energy and brain cells over shit like this.
Edit: after a bunch of emails and phone calls, the early entry happens 10 minutes before the normal entry.

The whole concert industry is eating itself alive. The majority of heritage acts are seeing the finish line, and going full throttle on the cash grab. Cost up. Reliability down. Bad formula.
Like yourself, I'm grateful to have seen many of them in better times, and am good with that. Pretty done with the whole Livenation/Ticketbastard cartel too. I don't foresee many arena/stadium shows upcoming.
Saw The Hangmen in a dive a couple weeks ago. They were great. $25.

One of the reasons I don't go see them is because of Johhny Depp.. Go figure lol Then this is your chance to see them without seeing him for most of the show. With the stage with the catwalk configuration as in Bucharest, if you're on Joe's side, it's only possible to see him for three songs. He's not very mobile post-injury, so the only time he was visible at all was during the three songs he sang on and for which he came in the middle. And even for those, Joe's right in front of you, so... I personally love People Who Died, I think Depp does a good job on it. Anyway, the really important stuff: I got to hear Bright Light Fright live! I repeat, I got to hear Bright Light Fright live! Can you guess who was jumping like crazy? Seriously, dream come true to finally hear this live. Tommy posted a video with the BLF audio before the tour and I thought it was just a tease. I wanted it, but I didn't even hope for it. And yet... Joe also sang You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory. And he was great throughout the entire evening. Overall, the band sounded excellent. Happy with the sound, which is always a hit or miss in Romania. Tommy had a technical issue at one point, but... the mark of professionals is that others in the band can step in and cover up any problems without stopping the show. Thought the inflatable vampire fangs were cool. And they looked surprisingly correct from an anatomical point of view. I'll never not love it when Alice goes "but we've got the Joe!" during The Jack Lots of cool visuals on the back screens. It felt short, though considering when I got back home, it probably wasn't on the clock. I left with three picks thanks to Nobu. One is a Joe pick custom made for the final ill-fated December 2022 Vegas shows. Another one is a pick that Tommy threw and landed in the pit. And luckily Nobu got it before security because, ugh, unfortunately security taking picks right from under fans' noses is still a thing. I think my friend Alex lost three such picks Tommy threw to him because of security snatching them. That was why he desperately dived for one that landed on our side of the barrier, which I think really scared Amber, who had come to us because Alex had a banner with Tommy's project and she wanted to take a photo of it. She thought maybe he passed out or something. The third one was at the end, "from Johnny Depp... maybe" - given he's the only band member I've never even exchanged any words with, I have no idea what his signature looks like, so I can only take Nobu's maybe. I also got a pick from Rich sometime pretty early in the show. And a pick from one of the first aid guys. So yeah, that's five picks in total. Um... yeah. I also got to meet Alice and Joe. And the rest of the band save for JD. Also, note to self: don't bring raisins in chocolate to a concert on a hot day. I ended up eating a melted mess. Good thing I had tissues to clean my hands.

Nobu sure gets around. He was at JP in NYC and told my friend Nancy that Philly would be first tour date before all were announced...

Look, we're famous Aaron posted a photo of us on Joe's page http://instagram.com/p/CtTFAOKtUTW I saw him taking photos, but I thought maybe I'll see a bit of us in some photo set after some band photos. Which I hope weren't too much of a pain to take, the stage was so high. Wanted to tell Aaron at some point "thanks for taking photos because I suck at it" but didn't really get the chance. Did not expect this. Also, Alice Cooper represented too! The girl next to Alex is wearing an Alice t-shirt. PS - Yes, it was intentional. Some recognition for the excellent musicians who aren't famous movie stars

If I could have made it to any show it would have been the Birmingham one... 🤦🏻♂️

That Birmingham concert would have been something for me to see in person: the singer from my all time favourite classic rock Group playing with the guitarist of one of my favourite HM Groups and the lead guitarist of another classic rock Group that is pretty high on my list of my favourites.
