Having guests like Iommi perform shows the full potential of the Vampires, and don't limit it to 60's and 70's bands. Hell, maybe they could encourage legendary hermits like Jake E. Lee and John Sykes to play.

Seen it and my first thought was I dodged a bullet. If it hadn't been for the whole early entry mess, I would have probably decided to go for this as well. This has to be one of the most last moment cancellations I have ever seen, the announcement came two minutes before doors were supposed to open for people with regular entry. This got posted on Joe's account at noon. So as far as Aaron knew at the time, the show was on. Btw, the hours at which these were posted make them look like manual posts to me. Not scheduled to post at max engagement hours.

shit, I am supposed to see them in 3 days! So is the tour off or what? Why was the show cancelled? some say Johnny Depp has fallen ill. If so, my show might be in jeopardy just as well. The others say, the venue didn't respect some contractual obligations. So which is it? Am I supposed to travel to see them in 3 days? just my luck

theyre all a trainwreck and should retire and issue an apology. And then Kramer was the issue... I have lost all respect for these guys.

theyre all a trainwreck and should retire and issue an apology. And then Kramer was the issue... I have lost all respect for these guys. WTF? They were fantastic this tour. Alice is one of the luckiest singers out there, time has been a hell lot kinder to his voice than in the case of a lot of his contemporaries. The guy can still sing pretty much anything and do it well. Joe is in peak form. And he seems to be having a lot of fun on stage. Which I've seen a lot of people slam him for, how dares he laugh during this tour more than in Vegas. FFS, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't... Glen is one of the finest rock drummers out there. The rest of the band is rock solid too. I'm not a fan of having the Depp-crazy fangirls screaming in my ears at shows, but the guy does his job. The setlists were great. The visual part of the show was great. As a live band, they fucking deliver. Yes, I am very pissed with the whole "ticket buying experience", with the ripoff prices, with Epic Rights. But their live performance? Absolute top level.

Uh, oh... The venue in Slovakia is an outdoor sports venue. Really sucks for the fans, but it's probably better than the stage collapsing while the band is playing. I have seen people warn about stuff like this for the past 3 years. I recall a summer 2020 interview with the singer from Die Toten Hosen. He talked about the impact on the people in the industry among other things. And he said something very interesting that stuck with me. That yes, people in the music industry can just find some other kind of work while no events are happening. The big problem however is going to be when events return, but these people don't. That they work with so many people when they're on the road touring. People who have been for years in the business and are very good at what they do. People they can't afford to lose. Because without them, a lot of things will go wrong. The Vampires are not the first band I've seen cancelling shows this past year due to problems found on arrival to the venue.

The distance between the audience and the stage makes me think of an Alice song... Might As Well Be On Mars! But it's good to see them back in action! And ooh, nice, Alice got off the stage and into the pit... now that's something I haven't seen before! And Tommy too! This reminds me... they didn't have balloons in Bucharest... I have balloons with the Vampires logo from the 2016 (orange) and 2018 (red) tours, but not from this one. Also... Alice introducing Joe with "one of the reasons rock is still rollin'" - hehe!

OMFG If you were there, you have no idea how much I envy you. This got a mention in Tony Iommi's "what I did in 2023" New Year's message.
