hey guys, sorry for sounding Goofy, but... I can't resist. I been baby sitting lately and an old episode of Duck Tales was on. You know, Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck and the like. They were diving in the ocean for some lost treasure and when they landed on the bottom of the ocean the pilot said "ground floor, hot pants, ladies lingerie... mmm, and a lotta mud" in the same way that chick said "2nd floor, hardware, ladies lingerie... mmm, good morning Mr Tyler" in the Elevator video.
I googled the original air date of the episode (Duck Tales S01E38 Aqua Ducks) and it's November 4, 1987 - way before Pump was released. So, is this line some kind of a cultural reference, a book, a tale, a movie from even before that, or for some whatever twisted reason Steven was maybe, just maybe, babysitting on a Saturday morning cartoon show and saw the same thing and got inspired?

DuckTales is a classic, I used to watch that show all the time as a kid and was actually just playing the old Nintendo game this week. I have all the episodes on a hard drive, so I figured I'd check that one out. I noticed it was part 3 of a 4 part episode so I watched all 4. Pretty epic adventure they all went on after Scrooge inadvertently blows up his swimming pool vault. All his gold goes down the drain and he travels half way around the world trying to get it back. For the part referenced it was pretty similar to Elevator. Liv and Mia both probably would have been watching DuckTales around that time, so it could be in the inspiration behind it. Doing a Google search it does look like a similar line was said in MASH years before. And Marlon Brando was supposedly once an elevator operator who quit because he was embarrassed saying lingerie... tropedia.fandom.com/wiki/Elevator_Floor_Announcement

Just what the doctor ordered. To live in 2023 and have an Aerosmith and Duck Tales conversation like it's the most normal thing on the planet - meaning "I have all the episodes on a hard drive" or "I don't even recall that episode, I should fix that". Man, wow, going from saying something at work and there's dead silence in the room to coming back home to that. Wow.
edit;
wait, what? it's 2023?
edit 2;
wait! what?
