I wonder if you can bet an over/under on how many shows out of the 40 will be postponed or cancelled? Lol Sigh. I'd like to hope they can pull off all the shows planned. I'm still upset over the fact that they cancelled the euro tour in early 2022, only to announce a string of shows in Vegas. I can understand why. Even now, US bands are still cancelling euro tours or not even planning on doing any in the near future. And we all know how Vegas went for them last year, an actual tour wouldn't have worked out better. But the whole thing still left a bitter taste. And I don't wish that for any other fans. It must have really sucked late last year for people who spent hard-earned money for a trip to Vegas, especially if that's not the sort of place where they'd ever set foot otherwise. Getting all the way there and seeing it cancelled at the last moment... it doesn't get worse than that and I'm really sorry for everyone who got put in that situation. I'm also sorry for everyone in the band because I don't think it's a decision they took easily or happily. It must be getting really frustrating for them too. Time doesn't spare anyone and it's not easy to come to terms with the idea that your body won't allow you to do what you want to do. So I can only wish them good luck with whatever tour plans they have, even if a US tour this autumn means I won't see them in 2023 either. And if anyone here is going, I hope you enjoy it. Not ideal for me, tbh - staying in one place means I can't save on accommodation by taking night rides. And both London and Tokyo are horrendously expensive. But Aerosmith have had a habit of often touring during the warmer months, which means I could get away with sleeping on a bench. If that's my last chance of seeing them, I'll take it...

They could do mini-residencies if they really wanted to, it just couldn't be in arenas. In big cities, they could do 2-5 (maybe more in select cities) shows in smaller places, sort of like what the heartbreakers did about 10 years ago. Maybe do an unplugged show too in those types of venues. I doubt the money is there for them for that though so it's a no go. They would have to want to do it just to do it. I doubt this point in their lives they would want that. As I said, I'll probably cave and go to a show or two knowing it's a good chance this will be it if they even get through it.

I've had 4 shows cancelled recently that I had tickets for. 2 because of Covid and 2 because of Steven's "illness". But like Devils744, I'll cave because no matter what, there's nothing like an Aerosmith show to make you feel alive.

Agree. The last 5 times I was to see them (Joe Perry included), the shows were cancelled.
Joe Perry, Detroit 2018 - Joe hospitalization Roxodus festival, 2019 - festival cancelled Las Vegas, 2019 - Steven lost his voice Madrid, 2020, postponed to 2021, postponed to 2022, then cancelled Lisbon, 2020, postponed to 2021, postponed to 2022, then cancelled!
I'd just like to see them once more.

Last time I had tickets the show was cancelled. Cheap Trick was scheduled to open, so I was really excited. This was a long time ago, maybe 2010 or so? Though I would like to see them again, ticket prices are ridiculously expensive and I would likely walk away disappointed in the setlist. Also, when I saw the band the first several times, it was a true band show--it has become the Steven show with a bit of Joe. Just not interested. (yet here I am posting on this forum because I still love this band)

I have a question for our dear hattah (Hatter) if she is out there somehow, somewhere. Will you be doing another hat for this Philly show?

If this tour comes to my front door, I'll be there. Won't be paying up front for tix/travel/accommodations out of town though. Too risky and potentially disappointing.
I've accepted the fact that my last Aero show may well have already happened.

I've accepted the fact that my last Aero show may well have already happened. I keep thinking I did as well. I thought the last Philly show was my last show. Then I did Vegas. And as sad as I was about it, I considered it my last Aero show. I had no interest in trying to to do this one either until I heard Philly will be a very early date and I saw that Peace Out banner. Now I am seriously considering getting tickets again. Whatever. I know I'm a hypocrite lol

At the same time, their music, their shows have done a lot for me over the years and that's not something I can easily forget.

Looks like Tampa is definitely one of the dates. This makes me happy…let’s see if I am still happy when the ticket prices are announced 😂

Where are you seeing Tampa? The Amalie Arena Instagram has the advertisement for the tour.

Well, the are coming to San Francisco, and 1 day shy of 46 years from the first time I saw them. Now I am tempted.
