Thanks for posting this! If the drummer fill-in is John Douglas again, then I hope he leaves his tin cans and metal buckets at home this time, because that's what it sounds like he's banging on Also, funny the author said that Steven has been struggling with abuse since the mid 80's. Where was he in the 70s? I noticed that. To be fair, Tyler wasn't struggling with it in the 70's. He wholeheartedly embraced it.

Well, knowing me, I'll probably cave and go to a show as I'm sure there will be a bunch in NJ/NYC/Philly area to choose from. I'll go in expecting exactly what I've seen before and will probably walk out of the venue happy yet kind of sad knowing that there is a good chance this is the last run for them and possibly my final Aerosmith show. No Joey sucks but that's the way it's going to be. Hopefully they find a way to include him even if just for a song or two. How many bands of their age still have all original members? It' can't be that many.
To those who will go, just enjoy it as much as possible as the train appears to be hitting the final destination (If they even get through this tour which I'm not sure they will based on history and whatever you do don't make far travel plans to see them lol). To those who aren't, hold onto the memories and good times you had.

I don't get the consensus here that allegations against Tyler would preclude an Aerosmith tour. It's not as if he'll face jail time. Hell, President Trump's running for President again, and he's under indictment. A fake indictment for a fake crime.

A fake indictment for a fake crime. What flavour was the Kool-aid? No kool aid just truth. Remember, if they are doing this to Trump, they can and will do it to you. Democrats, including Joe Biden, has done a lot worse than what they are accusing Trump of, and they don’t punish Democrats. Trump’s only crime was being a Republican that beat Hillary.

Anyone else besides me think that Aerosmith was on the very very short list to play at Power Trip? Originally it was to be billed as the biggest rock bands from the 70’s and 80’s…I wish they were playing in place of TOOL.

All of those bands are definitely on the “heavier” side, but Aerosmith would have fit nicely. Bummer Aerosmith doesn’t get much recognition these days. They were so massive in the 80s and 90s

If they are doing sheds in the fall, it makes sense to do the east coast early in the tour before it gets cold.

Joe talked with a reporter from the Boston Globe before Sunday's show. The tour is now nearing 40 dates, and they'll play the Boston Garden before the end of 2023 (hopefully about an hour before the end of 2023). If you are among the loyal dozens who still listen to Howard Stern , keep an eye out for them on his show over the next 2 weeks. Full Article
