To be fair you've probably met Joe more times than I have! I've met him exactly twice, so no, not more times. And in all honesty, I meant getting to hear Sick As a Dog, not meeting Joe. Because while I haven't met Joe more times than you did, I still have met him more times than I got to hear Sick As a Dog live... exactly zero times. I mean I have only seen SaaD live once, so... although I have a recording of that gig somewhere so have heard the song live from that show multiple times!

Make It was played 20 years ago at back to back shows in New Hampshire and Boston. If ever there was a tour they should open with it, it's the Peace Out tour. I would love to hear it and I think it would definitely be easier on Steven's voice than opening with "Saddle". I think the reality is that they are scared to play it, as a lot of the more casual fans don't know it and it hasn't been played regularly at all since the 1970s. Doing some research online, which admittedly is not 100 percent accurate, they've played it less than 10 times from 1980 onward. Looking at the online statistics that I can find, it looks like the few times they've played it over the last 3 decades, they've played it for New England audiences who I assume the band views as more hardcore Aerosmith fans: 11/26/03 - Boston, MA 11/24/03 - Machester, NH 07/28/03 - Hartford, CT 01/16/98 - Boston, MA 11/10/95 - Boston, MA 11/09/95 - Cambridge, MA

That's a killer fuckin' opener and don't even try to change my mind I agree that it is less known, but as aerozhul said: "if it’s the opener and it’s upbeat, people are going to be excited no matter what." and like you said - it would be definitely easier on Steven's voice. Would be a good warmup for him... Yeah, well... we can dream on.
