Hi guys,
sorry I haven't been able to post much lately, but with so much fuzz going on and having two jobs, I couldn't find much time. I still catch up every few weeks because I love this place and all of you guys. Been a member of this particular place for like what, 10 years now? Wow, where did the time go? Whoever sent me the personal invitation when AF1 was going down the drain, thank you again, buddy! Couldn't have done it without you! I'm a lifer, much like you guys.
Anyhow, that's not what I meant to say but logging in made me soft and I thought, oh what tha heck, might as well kiss some ass, and why not? Get a round of applause for yourself, you deserve it!
Were was I? Oh yeah! hey, listen. Many moons ago I got me the Full Circle EP, with the LP version, the radio edit, what kind of love are you on (totally underrated), pink video (uncensored - with the nipple), and hole in my soul from a little south of sanity as track 3. That track was misspelt as "hole in my sole", which I still find funny and fitting. As if the set was dictated to some douchebag on the phone - track number 3 - hole in my soul - whole what? That song that goes "I know there's been all kinds of shoes underneath your bed - Now I sleep with my boots on but you're still in my head". Hole in my sole, kay kool, next!
So the other I picked up another one, and It had the same set but "I dont wanna miss a thing live" as track 3 printed both on the cover and on the CD. Dated Cape Canaveral 98, so the same one I found on the Fly Away From Here EP. But sure as hell I bought it anway, ran home to give it a spin, and gues what - track 3 still plays the hole in my sole from a little south of sanity! And I double checked, triple checked, the catalogue numbers, I was not ripped off and nobody misplaced the CD. You guys were aware? Anybody knew? Anybody else? Man, let me hear ya
Sorry for being so over excited, and why not?
edit; sorry, I forgot to post these for reference

I wasn't aware of anything in your post, but I guess at least they attempted to address the original typo (but made it a 'hole' lot worse)?

I think maybe you're overthinking the Hole In My Soul/Sole situation a little bit. The song title is clearly a play on the phrase "hole in my sole," so it makes sense somebody would goof that up. Lol.
Never noticed that on the single/EP! I have one of them but can't remember which. Now I'm curious.

Lol. Never noticed that on the single/EP! I have one of them but can't remember which. Now I'm curious. In the 27 years since it released, I never realized that play on words. Or, far more likely, I forgot about it a few decades ago - I'm sure I bought that single way back when. Either way, not counting Tom's bass playing (which was terrific!), I was never a fan of Hole In My Soul. I always found the chorus way too schmaltzy and cliche for my tastes, to the point where I would cringe hearing it. There's a hole in my soul That's been killing me forever It's a place where a garden never grows But now I have to wonder, maybe Steve was just very very worried about foot fungus? Seems like a raise your lighter, ballad worthy, concern if I ever heard one. Get the man some foot powder. (or maybe someone finally did, and he wrote 'pink' celebrating once a healthy color came back. Who can blame him?).
