Tom is sure great but lately I've been wondering how a musician can stay true to one instrument for 50 years. I mean, I'm not talking shit, just wondering, I been trying to learn to play the drums, the keys, the piano, I tried my hand at singing, I was shit at all of these, but none the less, a rocker at heart, everything excites me, and I just wonder didn't Tom feel like he mastered bass some time in the 80s and was never inclined to pick up another instrument and release some side project songs there? or Kramer and drums, have you ever heard of him playing any other instrument? In all these years? Being a musician, he was never inclined? Just wondering. I remember when ex-Guns N Roses drummer Matt Sorum wrote a song on a guitar and on a piano for Velvet Revolver and people would go ape shit calling him Leonardo DaVinci or some sorts, and he was scratching his head telling them he's a musician, he can play for better or worse on mostly anything, and he can sing too.
