So, unless you've been living under a rock you probably heard that Obama on his own without talking to Congress which he has to do by law, released 5 terrorists from Gitmo in order to get Sgt. Bergdal released. These weren't just any terrorists, they were the worst of the worst, Obama's own human rights commission even said we shouldn't release these people because they will kill Americans again.
Sgt. Bergdal walked off his base in A-Stan and sought out the Taliban. He tried to escape twice early on but then he converted to Islam and joined Jihad against the USA. He was target practicing with his "captors" and he was allowed to carry a gun sometimes. I guess we know why Obama wanted to get him released...after all, a traitor is the only soldier he can relate to.
So now we are negotiating with terrorists and Obama is sending back their leaders so they can attack us again. I don't know what side Obama is on but it sure isn't the USA's side. Bergdal's father was with Obama at the White House praising Allah and talking in the Taliban's language as Obama hugged him. Sgt. Bergdal should be given a military court martial and if found guilty hung. Then they should hang Obama for being a traitor to this country.

Honestly, not sure what to make of this. With what we know, I cannot understand the logic of this decision. I am all for saving lives of United States citizens, but at what cost did this happen? Of course, I don't pretend to know what hidden agendas may be at play--but this just seems like a poorly thought out political grab.

We did have a headline here in Oz relating to this;
AMERICA DOES NOT NEGOIATE WITH TERRORISTS...Apparently now they do! It basically said that (I think it was 5) Afghani detainees at Guantanamo Bay had been swapped for one US soldier.
On the news on TV, there was the soldiers father thanking Obama (IN ENGLISH with an American accent) and they did like a man hug at the end.
So Darryl, what is the Taliban language, cause I'm pretty sure it aint English?
Arabic? (that is spoken in even more countries than I thought) Farsi? (Iran, which was originally called Persia) Urdu? (Pakistan) Dari? (Afghanistan)

Their argument to not negotiating with terrorist is that we POW swapped in the past. Its not even close. Terrorist are not normal war opponents. They are criminals. I get the wars of the past 20 years might seem like we are the criminals but I can't lost faith that much. It seems like Obama thinks he can just do as he pleases with no consequence. And that might be true. He does not care. I have grown to hate him. It might be because I had forgotten why I quit going to Huffington Post and spent about a month going there for my internet news and they post these continuous pictures of Obama with a kind of cheering of the fucked up things he was doing that moment. ARGGGG!!!!
He said he would post ALL BILLS ON THE INTERNET, we could then read them and then con act our representatives and give our opinion. So i voted for him. But he lied. So much so he passed Obamacare with 1000's of pages that were not even printed, or figured out, passed to be written later. Is that true? Is our government that fucked up?
I can to believe they did this exchange and i felt that way before I knew the guy deserted, and it sounds like he gave them information to make their road side bombs more effective. His dad is a creep also. AND NOT BECAUSE HE IS MUSLIM. I could give a rats ass.

If he was he would have done even more damage. I think he just wants to piss some people off and coast the next two years so he can write his book and get on the party and speech circuit so he can pull in 20 million a year.

He's not stupid. Not by a long stretch. He may very well be on their side, because he doesn't appear to have the welfare of the US citizens at the foreground. He is passing bills without going through proper channels...calling it "My Congress". Excuse me...they are elected officials, who are overpaid and should have term limits. And they are OUR Congress, pompous fool. Speaking of which, don't be surprised if/when he signs another little piece of paper granting himself unlimited terms. The first election made me sit up and take notice. Mccain blew it on several levels...not the least of which was his running mate.
Who on earth takes a traitor(he sent his uniforms home and his correspondence points to his desertion beforehand)and trades them for five of the most dangerous terrorists on the planet? How about our guy in Mexico? He's one of the only ones who CAN'T get into the States.
I'm giving myself a headache now. This is a travesty and that most horrific thing is that it's far from over.

Elected? I wouldn't call it that. Having lived in Iowa and seeing Chuck Grassley and Tom Harkin elected year after year you come to understand the concept of humans becoming lemmings.

McCain had a lot of problems...Sarah Palin wasn't one of them. In fact, Palin got him the few votes he got. Romney had many of the same problems McCain had...how can you campaign against Obamacare when you instituted Romneycare in Massachusetts? Granted, I think Romney would have made a hell of a lot better President than this guy, but he had no chance. Between the voter fraud (dead people voting for Obama) and the idiots who think Obama is the Messiah, along with the problems Romney had, there was no way we were going to win. I know I thought different before the elections...but I thought people had woken up and wouldn't be hoodwinked again. That's the last time I ever listened to Karl Rove. I still remember him on Fox News on election day after everyone had called the election for Obama he was screaming and shouting about how this wasn't over and all the media had it wrong. What a disgrace he was. |

The fact that Obama comes from Chicago speaks volumes. Vote early and often. Doesn't matter. His candidacy was bought and paid for. Lemmings, indeed. Part of the problem was that people were voting for/against race and all manner of other things, instead of focusing on the real issues. Most of the people, from Chicago anyway, who voted Obama in were looking for a free ride. Oh yeah, the gov't will pay for this, or that. Um...where do they think the gov't gets the $$? Somebody had better go to work, eh? I'm sure she did, but I don't think it was her brilliant mind that sold the public. I agree with you about Romney. We are stuck right now, because like it or not, we tried to impeach a white guy for getting a knobber(pardon me) from an intern(like no other president EVER stepped out...this one just got caught...wash the darned dress, Lewinsky), but no one is going to touch this guy because the race card will be plastered everywhere, even though he's half caucasian. Doesn't matter. The lemmings have deemed him the "first black president" and "the Messiah"....blah blah blah. Stuck and in such a disgraceful position. |
