Is this the most childish, passive aggressive way any adult or government could deal with an issue they perceive that they need to deal with?

Our government, and media is really pissing me off with all of the politically correct bullshit that has been mounting. There are groups and certain Native Americans that have come out and said they don't care about the name, some said it wasn't meant to be a slur but it's actually an honor. But they keep focusing on the few that have a problem with it. Of course Obama would just force it through, like the little puppet dictator he is. In my opinion it's just another way for them to limit First amendment rights and it's a way to influence the public and indoctrinate them to get used to our speech being limited. Do I like the owner of the Redskins? No not at all, but I do believe he legally owns that team and as long as he isn't physically doing harm to any native americans then he should be able to keep the name. We have enormous issues as a country and our president should not be focusing on something like this. Next thing you know they'll have a problem with the Cleveland Browns since there are people with brown skin, something ridiculous like that. Obama is no better than Bush, he is practically the same exact president, same agenda, bought out by the same special interests, just a friendlier face and a much better and smarter speaker.

Ridiculous. We have a slew of mass shootings, but the administration doesn't want to offend the NRA or the Gun Control Lobbyists, so they say the right thing and do little to nothing. Except force a football team to change its name. What type of pay and retirement does our president get for this type of effort?

Free health care, not Obamacare but the kind our senators and congress people get for life after being elected just once. Protection. He is coasting and so blatant about it. I prefer my President look miserable while he says FU to me. Thats what I am used to. Not the selfie taking, smiling as he ignores..........Blah blah blah. It just don't matter.

Except force a football team to change its name. What type of pay and retirement does our president get for this type of effort? Dude they've been trying to ban firearms and make them hard to own for years. In a good number of states it is very difficult and expensive to own a gun. It's more than just the NRA, it's the other law abiding citizens that will get really pissed when their right to defend themselves is taken away or decreased even more. It will be the tipping point in our country if they do that. Just because some loony assholes go fucking nuts from their psychotropic drugs and or their mental disorder doesn't mean we lose our rights, in fact that's partially the problem in my opinion. There are no good, armed citizens around to defend themselves and others from these mentally ill people that shouldn't have guns, but those sick people will get them one way or another, whether they're illegal or not. All of those thugs in the inner cities have illegal, unregistered guns and if and when our government confiscates law abiding, innocent citizens guns there will still be plenty of guns on American streets and it will only be those thugs who we don't want owning a gun which will have them and it will give those same sick people an even bigger advantage on the good, innocent people and children of our country. Just look at Mexico, illegal for a citizen to own a gun or even better Just look at Chicago, guns are illegal in the city and I'm pretty positive (could be wrong) they had close to or over 1,000 gun related murders last year. I mean hypothetically even if there are two gunman and a couple of police, most of the time those officers will not be expecting something like that to happen, and if those sick gunman shoot those police officers, then what? Then there is no one else around to protect you from those people, which gives them ample time to shoot at least a dozen or so people until more police arrive. Oh and years ago the CIA was caught shipping guns in to the inner cities along with drugs in to our country and there wasn't a thing done about it, there are covert operations like that, that won't stop if they make guns illegal for law abiding citizens to own. And the CIA is extremely secretive, technically the president doesn't even fully know the extent of their operations unless they need him or want him to know. And more police or military every where isn't a solution, a lot of police are mentally unstable themselves and are trigger happy and I really don't want to live in a modern day version of Nazi Germany, that is also a very unsafe way to live. So sadly this is just the messed up world we live in and we have to take precautions as good people and defend ourselves and our families if we choose to do so. Oh and by the way I don't own a gun. I just believe in the right to bare arms. I can't afford to own one right now because I live in a state that makes it expensive to go through the permit process. Don't get me wrong I really wish there were no wars, no bombs, and even no guns, even though it does help in hunting and it does help you protect yourself from huge animals like bears, but I do wish none of these things existed but they do and that is the reality and we have to deal with that, guns will always be around no matter what. Most people that own them are good people but there will always be times when people that are unfit to own a fork and knife will get a hold of a gun one way or another, whether they're illegal or legal.

Yeah...let's blame the guns and not the liberal nut jobs doing the killings. (And yes, almost all the mass shooters have been liberals and nut jobs lol!)

So if you all go back and read my post carefully, you will see I assert the administration does't want to go up against either side of the issue. I make no reference to how to manage it here, just identify that nothing is done either way in hopes of being "friends" with everyone.

It's not $400K but it's close when you add everything up. . "Each former president receives the same salary as a current member of the Presidential Cabinet. For 2013, the amount was $199,700 per year. This number does not take into account the extras the former leader is entitled to including a $96,000 stipend for office staff payroll and free postage for life. The former president is granted a host of benefits that often add up to more than the pension payment itself. For example, ex-presidents are allowed office space and communications systems paid for by taxpayers." Source: work.chron.com/much-us-president-make-retirement-23058.html
