Good points. That covers the main reasons for my atheism, just about.
About the book by that title:
I read it, and I thought that it wouldn't be very convincing to someone who wasn't already convinced.
But, since I am someone who's already a hardcore atheist, none of the arguments in the book were anything new that I hadn't heard already before.
I think the only audience who'd find the book useful and compelling would be those who are just on the cusp - people who are in the process of losing their religion, or people who've begun to have serious doubts about their religion and are looking for help in clarifying their thoughts. I think I would've loved this book a decade ago when I was seriously questioning Christianity.
I guess it's a very good book on Basic Introductory Atheism 101. It's a good book for anyone looking to understand why someone would be an atheist.

I haven't met many people who as they age it all seems silly because you become "aware" of many things. But like me they say they are in it to the end on faith.
